Baby names you LOVE?

Just popping in from TTC! I love this thread! But I really juust wanted to say I LOVE game of thrones and the name Arya!

ceejie Arya Stark is a cool kid so it is not the worst choice but still... lol

Lol I know. DH read the book and before we started watching the series he told me that she would be my favourite character, and she is...but I just don't like the thought of having my child's name be a pop culture reference. But, it is a nice name...we'll have to wait and see if he brings it up.

After seeing all the responses here, I have a feeling the name Arya is going to have a huge spike in popularity over the next few years!

I love the old traditional names!

Elsie, Amber, Evie, James, Edward etc etc

So far we are going with Chloe for a girl and Jules (Julian) for a boy. I am sure that will change about a thousand more times before the baby comes! lol

I love the names Eva and Max - mainly because they are my childrens names... We are currently trying to find other 3-letter names for this baby and are really struggling.!

My top favorites are Lorelei or Luca for a girl, and Tristan for a boy.

We are using Aubrey for a girl or Aiden for a boy. We've had those names picked out for years :)

My fav boy names so far are Jace, Declan, Parker, Weston, Colton and Wyatt. I've also always loved Kieren for a boy but my 5 year old niece's name is Kyra which is just too close.
Girl names - Amelia, Ever, Georgina, Linden and Leighton

We are loving Aubrey, its top of the list for our girls name! Infact so far its the only name on the girls list

Its not very common in the UK but all the better for us!

This thread is great, lots of boys names ideas :winkwink:

I like Aubrey for a girl! I always thought it was a boy's name though? (as in Aubrey Beardsley) Not that that really matters now of course :)

I've never met an Aubrey in person, which is one of the many reasons we love it so much. My name is Sarah and there were always soooooo many other girls named Sarah in school. I'm hoping Aubrey will be a bit different :)

Have no names for girls... cos im 99% sure its going to be a little boy feel it in my water..lol and he shall be named Rocco

The first time I heard that name was on Making the Band with P Diddy (or whatever his name is now) and it was Aubrey O'day. I thought it was really pretty and it just kinda stuck with me. Don't know that I'll be telling my daughter (if it's a girl) that I got her name from a reality show, though lol.

It could be soo much worse! At least those ppl have a bit of talent, right? Imagine you had to tell her you got the name from the Jerry Springer show?! lol

OMG, too funny!

I like this thread better too, thank you. Although I'm not supposed to be here for another couple of months :haha: I love the names Jessica and Zach but my husband and I have agreed the next baby will be either Stanley Edward or Sylvie Caroline (Sylvie after my MIL who is Sylvia but we prefer Sylvie and Caroline after my nanna) We originally wanted Betsy Harper for a girl but my mother has decided to name her new dog Betsy :dohh:
