Can I ask those who went today..

What time did you get there and was there queues to get in?

Was it really hot inside?

Are there lots of baby changing areas dotted about and did you have to queue or anything?

Any other bits to avoid or to deff go to?

Did you buy anything new/on offer?

Dont suppose anyone has a map of the stands they could post a pic of? I have a feeling we'll be leaving early so I want to see where to head to first, as want to get a tripp trapp!

Thanks xx

loads of hand outs, loads of change places if you use pampers! seriously though I changed him in the normal baby change round the edges.

there is tonnes of space between stands so i never got ran over with a buggy. I wore Q as it was much easier to get on the shuttle to the entrance that way (there were Q's of buggies waiting)

Parking is £8, most places accept card though food kiosks have a min spend of £5

Oh I've never been to the NEC before so you park and get a shuttle to the NEC itself?

I was thinking about wearing but I did think Chloe might get uncomfortable after a few hours, and I wouldnt want her getting too hot, as it boiling here atm

In the pampers change areas can you not just go in there and change them into whatever nappy you want?

I think it is cheeky to have to pay for parking, I mean thats why they have a car park is it not to encourage more people to go!

Thanks hun x

The parking costs nark me too. If its the same as other events Ive been too at NEC then you park a fair bit away from the actual centre and then jump on a shuttle bus across, you can walk it as its not exactly far but if you have baby/buggy/stuff its a pain to walk. At the Equine event I went too in November you didnt have to pay for parking and the tickets were £12 each....pft! Not actually complaining though as I got my tickets free so will swallow the £8 parking...JUST!

i wore Q all day except when feeding, socialising with the ladies and put him done for 30 mins every now and then in a play area.

Was there today - wow it was busy!! At least it wasn't hot inside; but by the time u get from the car park to the entrance of the baby show u're sweating buckets lol.
Few freebies around, fairy and persil samples, muller yoghurts :p, re-usable bags at a few stands (including tripp trapp, tots bots), magazines etc, MAM toothbrush or soother w/ voucher which I posted somewhere. U get handed out sooo many bags of brochures and leaflets - it's all such a waste really so had to refuse quite a lot. Think Itti Bitti really had the best offers on; most of the other stands' offers you can find similar prices online or when there's a discount code around but it's nice to actually see the products.

Glad to hear its fairly cool inside, was the shuttle bus not on?

Wow it was so quiet today compared to when I last went! Was great!

Best offer for me was the Itti Bitts! Buy 8 get 8 for free, so half price...but I didn't need that many so bought 4 and got 3 for free, so still a good buy! Also their wet bags were half price at £5

Also Halos and Horns was 4 items for £5

Milton £1 per item

Tommee tippee all cups and beakers £5 for 2

Not sure on the saving as I haven't bought before but I got a flip, a bamboo liner and 3 inserts for £23 which seemed a good price - I hope it was lol

Might have seen u then :D yeah the itti offers are ace; wet bags are £10 but £5 if u're buying more than 8 nappies. I'm going to stock up on Halos & Horns tomorrow, didn't get a chance to stop at their stand today.
