I went back to work last week. The longest I was away from lo is 5 hours. While I did feel my breasts fill up, I didn'tt feel the need to pump, and I have enough in the freezer for now. So, if I don't pump, and feed lo while I'm not at work as usual, will I be able to keep my supply? I dont know if I will be able to pump at work but I want to continue bf for some time still

No experience as still expecting my first but I know the maternity policy where I work allows an extra hour worth of breaks a day for mums who are pumping so it's worth reading your policy.

I'd try and pump at least once, but it also depends how many days you work. I worked 3 days and didn't bother pumping as LO fed enough throughout the days we were at home. X

When I first went back to work I was missing three feeds but would pump one boob while feeding off the other before work and when I got home then once during the day at work just to relieve the pressure. If you can get the hang of feeding/pumping at the same time I found it to be very time effective and productive.

Thanks for the advice. Turns out I had a bad fever yesterday and it was mastitis, so now I will have to pump I guess
