Bacteria in milk powder??

im the same as ttc lady?

Oh its so confusing!

I add water that has been cooling for 30 mins to a bottle, and then leave the bottle on the side until I need it. Then add the powder! Hmm bottles are never sat for more than 4 hours! But they are pretty cool by the time I add powder! Argh so looks like its wrong

We always make up with freshly boiled water too. The only thing I've ever read about not using freshly boiled water is due to the risk of scalding (yourhands!!)
I think all this about it "burning" the powder is not true, my LO is fine and putting on weight happliy.

Same here, I am getting confused on what method it should be recommended! I usually do is that add boiling water to the bottle and then cool it down a bit then add the powder to it and store it in the fridge whenever my son is hungry. My friend - who is a Mum to her 2 kids - told me that store made up milks in fridge is completed not allowed  and I spoken to Mum in law, and she said it is up to me how comfortable I am feeling about making the bottle for my son. I dont know what to think best for it really. The information on the internet said it all and mum in law said everyone will never agree to one thing as the information will keep changing. xxxx
