Hay ladies

So pretty much suffered with insomnia for many years.

I felt exhausted in 1st trimester but still had troubles getting to sleep.
I did notice a improvement the other week and felt finlay I had gotten on top of it.

But this week has been tough. Try as I mite to sleep it just doesn't come.

I have been awake all night again.
I tried and tried but just cudnt sleep.

I did have some acid reflux so that probably dindt help.
I don't normally suffer with it untill 3rd trimester so I'm hoping it was just a one off.
I keep craving cheese and whole meal crackers so I didn't have anything unusual that wud cause the reflux.
I felt really warm too and I don't think that helped either.
Gonna get DH to get that fans out of the attic.

I've literally tried everything to help me sleep but nothing works.

Getting very frustrating now.

Now today I feel like a zombie and have no energy.

Any of u ladies suffer with this and did any thing help.

I mean I felt tired but I just cudnt drop off.

Normally with my insomnia I have one goodish night and one bad night.
The past 3 nights have been terrible.

I'm not uncomfortable or anything. I have a pregnancy pillow witch I love and my bump is big but doesn't ache just yet. So I know my insomnia is not down to that.

I get so peeved at DH because he is one of them that falls asleep supper easy and fast and stays asleep.
Where I'm up all night tossing and turning.

I'm at my wits end with it.

I haven't seen a midwife since I was 8 weeks.
I have had 2 consultant appointments but I've been told the midwife is the best person to talk too about the not sleeping.
I do have a appointment with her on 16th june so will bring it up.

Just wondered what helps u ladies with insomnia get a good night sleep?
