Hi all,
Iv said hello in the newbie area, but this is my first real post.
We had a MC last June, and MMC in October last year. We saw the heartbeat and 7 weeks but later found out it had gone away 2 days later. We found out a couple of days before the 12 week scan was due as my gf had severe cramping and blood so went for an earlier scan at the epu.
We got good news this time around and are now 6 weeks on Saturday, however, she has had brown spotting when she wipes - TMI (see....Iv being reading up in these forums!!) and slight cramps on n off / and now this is really worrying her. In the previous pregnancies, she started to get brown spotting in weeks 3 & 4 so this is the furthest we went without spotting.
We have a docs appointment Friday and will be trying to get an early scan on next Monday.
Because of the previous disappointment we have not told anyone about this pregnancy - apart from her mum n dad. And me being male, do not openly talk to anyone about this.
I try to reassure her that everythings ok and just find lots of positive stories on websites like this to prove it can be 'normal'. But obviously, this is really stressful on us both.
Sorry to go on, but just wanted to share this from a male perspective. Wondered if there are other guys/gals in the same situation?
Oh yeh, plus our due date is Christmas Day!
