Baking soda gender test?

Who all has tried the baking soda gender test? I just tried it and I got 5 bubbles then it was like I peed on sand. Not much of a "carbonated" look if any at all. Reminded me of flat soda pop. Do I need to do it again?

I did it, and it foamed pretty well... got a slight "Head" on it, like a soda would. I am planning on doing it several times just to see if it continues to foam.

I have done the chinese, on several sites, most of them said boy, one or two said girl. We also did the ring "test" and it, I think said boy, it was swinging back and forth but kind of spinning in a circle on the string while swinging back and forth.

My sister, who tends to have an odd psychic connection with me, swears it is a boy and my gut instinct has also been leaning more towards boy, buy I don't really feel like i KNOW.

Chinese, ring, and baking soda test predicted girl. However, me using the chinese predictor is odd because me and hubs concieved on my birthday. I have a strong belief that it is a girl. I don't trust my symptoms because they are totally different from my when I was pregnant with my son but every pregnancy is different. My nails and hair is growing like weeds, however my acne is really bad and my eating schedule is way off. Im not certain if it is a girl. I am hoping! but will be happy regardless.

add some baking soda in a disposable cup, then pee on it. If it fizzles like soda, it's a boy. No fizzle, girl!

Are you supposed to be a certain amount of weeks before trying it? I did it and there wasn't even the slightest bit of bubbling...I'm not sure if I am too early so I am going to do it once a week until I find out.

I am not sure, either, if there is a time frame where this is supposed to be more accurate. If anyone knows I would love to know.

You take a cup(dry) and add some baking soda into it. Then, you pee onto the baking soda. If it fizzles like a soda pop, then it is a boy. No fizzles, then it is deemed as a girl.

So mine had a few giant bubbles float to the surface, then from the side it looked kind of like beer, but it never covered the top in bubbles or made heavy fizz. Hmmm... perhaps I should try it again??

I had a couple bubbles but not anything that foamed or looked promising as fizzy. I was thinking that I need to try again? There is a claim that pregnant women with lower ph has tendencies to have girls whereas higher ph means boy.
I thought I would give it a try.

OK, so I just had to go try this test ASAP after reading this thread. How much baking soda should I have put in, I'm not sure? I probably filled the cup with about 1 1/2" of baking soda (straight from the fridge).
I only got some air bubbles, no foam. I assume that means Girl? All gender predictors seem to point to girl so far!

I love it! We should all post back here when we find out (if you are finding out) to say what tests were right. I think my DH also thinks I am mad for doing these things, but it is fun!
