Ive done this:

Mine didnt fizz so predicted a girl but im defo on team

Baking powder doesnt work, it has to be the soda

Really? I did mine with baking powder : / thats what I had read about lol. Baking Soda?? are you talking of bicarbonate of soda?

Its just a load of junk, like all of the other tales that claim to determine gender. Ive tried this quite a few times. The first time, it didnt fizz. The second time, it didnt fizz. But every time after that it DID fizz, except for the last time I did it- it went back to not fizzing.

The baking soda fizzes because of what you eat or dont eat. Not because of the gender of your baby, sadly

If it were so easy to determine the sex of your baby from your pee then doctors would offer a test for it! I'm sure it's good fun but don't get your hopes up based on pee fizz.

I WISH this kind of test was accurate, but the acidity in your pee is determined by your diet and how much water you've had to drink. I'll wait for the 16 or 20 week scan for an accurate result!

They wouldnt offer this anyway ~ Just like some scanning departments wont tell you the sex

Exactly! Its only a bit of fun, should all try it, pee on a bit of baking soda instead of peeing on our bonfire lol its only a giggle, no one really takes it seriously

Snap haha, I got excited when mine fizzed but in reality im pretty sure were gonna have a girl! I could always dress her like a boy haha
