Beard darkening...?

My OH needs his beard darkened for a fancy dress stag thing. I know that talc in darker hair 'whintens' it but is there anything similiar that would darken and would wash out dead easy?

What about black face paint applied to the beard? Should wash off pretty easily.

Probably go for face paint or something like that. It'll wash out easily.

For dog shows they use cigarette ashes to darken noses. It would probably work on hair too. (It could be other ashes too probably.)

You could use the spray in stuff for your hair that would work the same x
