Okay, so Summer is here, and my goodness, it is a whopper this time. Over the weekend. Saturday reached 105°F/40.5°C and Sunday reached 107°F/41.6°C. And from the forecast for the next week, it does not look too much better.(All in the high 90's and low 100's °F)
I do not have access to a pool (not affordable anyway) and can't afford an air conditioner. I do have an old swamp cooler that is on its last legs that does help a little, except in such extreme temperatures, it just blows hot and damp air at me. I keep both me and my 14-month-old supplied with ice water at all times. But that doesn't do much, and she can get some play time in the bath.
Our landlord don't allow wading pools/paddling pools or hoses. So our options are very limited. What I am wondering what do you ladies do to keep cool?
