being pregnant and lazy

Well... what an exhausting day! I was supposed to take a friend out for lunch for his birthday. So when he turned up, i had to shout to get him to let himself in. I gave him money and strict instructions.
i) go out to our fave lunch spot.
ii) order your fave lunch
iii) take a picture of the waiters that we like to admire while eating...
iv) phone me and talk to me so i can get a sense of the ambience in the place
v) bring me back a take out of my fave meal from there.

All the looking at the mms pics and answering the phone has tired me out for one day! Whew!

On a bright note about the OP, I think my blood pressure goes up whenever I get annoyed or angry, which probably brings my bp up from badly low to just within normal range ... which means that my dizziness went away all yesterday as soon as I read that post. :flower:

I need to find another anger inducer today it seems.

Today with more energy Ive come across it and my god how I laughed and laughed then ran out of energy and had to sit. This is just the best thread Ive seen all day

I think the start of this thread is terrible however it does seem to get more lighthearted towards the end although I havent read it all. I do ask alot of my partner!!! That is because I am exhausted with working, cleaning, cooking etc. If a woman isnt feeling good its for a REASON! And straining to do an activity is selfish and irrisponsible on your unborn baby. They say rest when you can in pregnancy for a reason. If it was a choice of my partner fetching me a drink or me doing everything and straining instead of thinking of my baby then it would be him fetching me a drink every single time...and he loves looking after me and his unborn baby. People who judge should keep their opinions to themselves, half of judgment is jealousy anyway! The start of this thread has annoyed me big time! arghhhh! lol

:hugs: Relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax hun! Demand your OH to makes you a cup of tea!

And read the rest of the thread (or get OH to do it for you). That might put a smile on your face. And seriously, your partner SHOULD be doing everything. That's just biology.

Haha im actually in the middle of cooking his tea...but the washing up and drying up and drink making will be his job when he comes in, and ill have him waiting on me all night while I watch my tv programmes! and he WILL love it. ill even let him tuck me in bed, he can carry me if he really wants too!

Thats a good start... once you have done that young Padowan we will have to teach you the next step towards becoming a Jedi level Lazy Pregnant woman!

We've had little success with the whole being carried to bed thing. I wish you luck in this... dragging yourself to bed is just awful

 As you'll recall, maddog has bottle service.

i'm about to brave a journey to tesco. when i can be bothered to get up off the sofa and get DD dressed.

They deliver! But you still have to get up to answer the door... Unless you lie there, wimpering pathetically as if you're injured - then they might break the door down

i want to go to the store itself tbh, i cant blame the useless cookies and stuff on impulse purchases if im doing a shopping list online lol!

DH has now decided he'll drive me there :D i'll use the 'im havin cravings for.....' line for the impulsive goodies... and he can push me and DD around in the trolley :D

Good plan Bmonki... you'll have to make sure he pushes two trolleys round tho... wouldn't want anything accidently falling on you!

our tesco does have wheelchairs, ill just sit in one and say 'push'

after all in a few months time i'll be the one doing al the pushing ;)

I salute you Bmonki ... I couldn't cope with a trip to the supermarket so it's getting delivered between 6 and 8 ... if they time it right hubby will still be in the kitchen (he's cooking us all a curry from scratch) so he can put it away too :coffee:
