Ive thought about making my own wipes, but may just buy some for now. Im interested in what you think makes the best wipe and why? New to all this so reasons help me to figure out what, why and when lol.

TIA x

I like flannel the best for poos as it picks up, is soft and rinses off well in the sink. I have a variety of fabrics on mine (flannel, terry, muslin) but use the flannel ones for the mess.

mine are bamboo terry - bamboo is naturally anti-bacterial
(some people like separate wipes for bottoms & face - i use mine for both but obviously not on the same use)

The ones i am making are OBV one side with fleece the other

also considering making some terry one side with fleece the other too

I have cotton velour on one side with fleece on the other for wee and cotton velour on one side with bamboo terry on the other for poo. The only side I never ever use is fleece. It just smears the poo and if I'm trying to squeeze some water onto it to wet it, the water just runs straight off so I don't see the point!
