best time to test??

my af is possibly due next thurs(10th),not sure when as this is only my second proper cycle after finishing bcp.was just wondering when would be best time to test if af doesnt show??should i leave it a few days or longer?

i think sum tests u can do as soon as ur 1 day late. but im not entirely sure.
