my labour was 3 hours with a 9lb 11 ouncer! Everyone always goes 'oh' in a patronising way, drives me mad. Fi is now 5 months, 18lb11 and 76cms! She is in 9-12 sleepsuits eek!x

:wave: Can I join you. Kate's on the 75th for her weight, she was 18lb 8 at 28 weeks. Her length is currently off the centile chart. She was 75cm at 28 weeks.

She must take after her Dad, he's 6'4". I'm only 5'4". My poor mum keeps joking that Kate will be bigger than her before she starts school as she is only 4'11"

Hi! Would love to join too. I remember at my ultrasound check-ups that Gavin's legs were always measuring 3 weeks ahead of his gestation age. My OB had to schedule my C-section earlier as according to her the baby was getting quite tight in my tummy and I was starting to lose fluid too. I expected a big, heavy baby. Gavin was only 6 lbs 13 oz when he was born and 19.27 inches long. However, he is sure catching up very quickly. I often get comments that he is a big baby, another giant like his siblings. His brother is the 3rd tallest in his class of 43 students. He is 9 years old 4'10 and 104 lbs. His sister is 5 years old and the tallest in her class (4'1" and 69 lbs). Gavin will be 5 months on the 17th and weighs 19 lbs. He wears 9 to 12 month clothing and 12 months in Carters. My baby's pediatrician says that Gavin is the weight and height of a 1 year old Filipino baby. I am not really that tall. I am only 5'7" and dh is 5'6". However in our country, I am considered taller than most women. I remember in school I was always the last in the line and always seated at the last row in class. I guess it has to do with my genes and my mom's German blood. So, nice to be here. How are you all?

Can I join? Lennox was in the 97th percentile for height, but weight was barely even average at his 9 month check-up. He still can wear some of his 12 month clothes, but he mostly is wearing 18 months. He's tall like his twin brothers. They are all taller than my first son Trent was at their age and he's 16 and already 6 foot 1 inch, but was born 9 pounds 12 ounces and 22.5 inches 5 days late. Lennox was born 5 days early and was 8 pounds 1 ounce and 21.5 inches and my twins Peyton were 6 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches and Eli 6 pounds 10 ounces and 19.75 inches. They were born at 36w 3d .

I have another son Ty who has a heart defect and is quite small because of it, but he was 8 pounds 7.5 ounces and 21.5 inches when he was born 12 days late.

AimeeM: I live in Brighouse, I used take a cpurse at the Tech and it was based up at Almondbury High he he. Chloe goes to a nursery near Almondbury but not quite as far up from town centre, If that makes sence lol. Just don't want to say the name on a open forum

Steffi2: Chloe was only 1oz more than Gavin when she was born, She had a major growth spurt too!


Just come back from a family funeral, was nice to meet up with family afterwards though, don't get to see them much. One of my Aunts was amazed that Chloe looks a lot bigger in person, she said she looks more 'baby sized' on photo's (meant in a good way)

Yes i know Brighouse, half of hubby's family live there and he did while growing up.
I totally understand about what your saying about this being an open forum!

I think Nathan is abit poorly, he's hardly eating andits not like him. A trip to the docs tomorrow i think.

KTE Sorry about having to go to a funeral, but glad you had a nice time visiting with relatives you haven't seen in awhile. I had my mom's funeral last year and got to see her relatives that I hadn't seen in since I was maybe 10. I'm now 36 so a very long time.

AimeeM I hope Nathan feels better! Lennox is sick too. He's been running a fever since last night.

I do think he is teething as his gums at the frontbottom are really hard and lumpy but ido think he also has a bitof a cold too.

I'm up again tonight because Lennox is still running a fever and is very crabby because of it. I've tried going to bed so many times. Oh it's only 2:54am here.

Thanks, she only just learnt to stand up holding on at the beggining of the week Still amazes me when I catch her doing it!

Hmmm, I think so. I'm was talking about more kids with my cousin yesterday, she never planned to have any and was a bit shocked when she found out she was pregnant but now she wants more. I always wanted a couple, maybe three but now I think I may try for just one more but think about it in a few years time. The thought of having another scares me a little, don't know why but I think in a few years I may be ready, my OH mentioned having another randomly a while back and its made me smile so I know somewhere inside I do want another. I feel silly as I had a good pregnancy, the birth was a little stressful though but had the best possible outcome, I think its just before I was in ignorant bliss, now I am more aware of things that could go wrong so I need to stop thinking about those first! Sorry for the ramble!

Morning ladies, i bought Billy his first shoes last week and his feet are so big he has size 6H feet! He had to skip cruisers as they don't go big enough so i had to buy the softest walking shoes i could find but boy were they pricey £39.99 for baby shoes.
I would like another baby but i'm a bit scared of how big it might be to be honest with both my boys being on the bigger side i'm dreading if i have another boy as Billy was 10lb8oz i'd like another girl though so i have 2 of each plus Amber was only 8lb1oz which is a much easier weight to give birth to.

we are planning on at least 2 more but if they keep getting bigger at the same rate then i'll be in the running for GIANT baby as EJ was 1lb 2oz bigger than Nate so that would make the next one 11lb 14oz and the last 13lbs

Wow Faun, £39.99! Were they from Clarkes? They are great for toddlers but not so great for school age kids as they wear out really quick.

Nathan was way smaller than Kayden so maybe our next will be smaller still? Did anyone have a growth scan when they were pregnant?

I'd like one more. I would like a girl next time, but if it's another boy I'll be happy. I have clothes from my twins and Lennox that I can use for another boy, but if I have a girl look out stores I'm on a shopping spree! lol If I get b/g twins that would be the coolest thing! What ever happens it will be my last pregnancy as I'm going to get a tubal and be done having any more children after that.

When are you planning on starting ttc?

I think I will chart for a few months after my cycle returns before I go into ttc mode. I want to know how my cycles are first. I had 24-25 day cycles in between my twins and Lennox.

We are going to ttc sometime this year but not sure when.

I had a growth scan with Nathan after Kayden being big. His stomach measured 39 weeks at 33 weeks. When he was born and even now he has a chunky belly, just like his dad hehe!
The consultant thought he would be small as my fundal height was 37 at 41 weeks. I knew she was wrong!

I measured him the other day he is 73cm. I did wonder why he was in 9-12 month trousers. I am only 5'6" and his dad is about 5'9" so God knows where he gets it from. Kayden is quite tall for his age too.

I had 2 growth scans with Lennox one for my 20 week u/s and the other was for the perinatologist. I had my first u/s at 6w 5d to make sure there was a baby. Then the second at 9w 3d because I had spotting turned out to be a subchorionic hematoma. My third was at 13w 3d due to not hearing a heart beat. He was fine! Then my fourth was my gender/ growth scan at 19w 5d. My fifth was at 32w 1d for Fifth Disease that I caught from my twins and I needed weekly u/s's till I had him to make sure he wasn't severely anemic. So I ended up having 6 more u/s's for a total of 11 u/s. Lots of pics for a scrapbook for him.
