Hey all, hope your and your LO's are all okay

Chloe had her 7/8/9 month check on Thursday; she is 98th centile for height, between 50-70th for weight (she now weighs 19lbs 5oz) and her head is on the 50th centile.

She was given a toothbrush and some adult toothpaste in a pot and we were told to not use baby toothpaste. She was also given a weaning cup and the HV said to try and give her a milk feed in the free flow cups now rather than bottles to avoid bucking her teeth. We also got a bookstart bag with two books and info on joining the library. All in all she is developing well/on target for her age.

I think it's because they now realise that babies need floride in their toothpaste, but baby toothpaste doesn't have much in it. (could be making that up though!)

Well M was weighed at the HV on Thursday. 15 weeks old, 16lb 2oz and 63.5cm (25inches) so she's just over the 91st centile for weight, and 75th centile for height.

Still haven't had any negative comments from people, but got a few 'oo she's a big girl, isn't she?!' today. Lol. My HV didn't quite believe that I wasn't supplementing her with formula!

It was something to do with the fluride, although they told OH it (as I was at work) so I'm not fully sure of the reason behind it!

Hope you can shead some light on it, I have heard so many different things now, it's confusing! I'm just going to stick with it though as I only use a teeny tiny amount, less than recommended as I don't really fancy her eating the stuff!

well we got weighed again today and at just under 18wks Elliott is 20lbs 10oz

Well i had Billys check up yesterday and he is now 2'10" tall and weighs 36lb!! He's only 10 months and he's bigger then most 2 year olds, everyone is happy with him though as he is in proportion and meeting all his milestones. I guess i just have a giant baby!

Lynnikins Billy was 20lb 2oz at 17 weeks looks like we both have big cuddly boys

that is big Faun, my 2 yr old is about 38lbs he was a big baby too but not as big as EJ lol but EJ is a skinny kid hes just really long

Had Elle weighed yesterday, she is 18 weeks today and weighs 17lb! Her 3-6 month clothes are starting to get a bit tight now, hardly been in them any time at all and looks like I best go start looking for a 9-12 wardrobe, think im gonna skip 6-9

Daisy weighed 15lbs 3oz last week (8weeks old)

Aw well I have to say with these weights that every ones LO's still look fab and healthy

Chloe is loving brushing her own teeth, I thought she would be fussy but she likes to do it herslef already!

Hey do you all mind if i pop in

Nathan is 5 months and 18lb 11 oz. He is on the 99th Percentile for height and 91st for weight.

He is dying to crawl but i think somethimes his weight weighs him down although he is really strong.

He was 8lb 11oz when born which was much smaller than my first son who was 9lb 7oz, who is now very skinny although he eats like a pig!

How annoying GRRR! I BF for 8 weeks and that was when Nathan put on the most weight. It is amazing how chunky BF can make them

Update on Connor- At last weeks checkup Connor was 17.6lbs (80th percentile) and 27inches (96th percentile)

yeah i dont understand why people think that bf babies cant be chubby! and why should people think i should be supplementing with formula just coz he's bigger my milk made him this big and i've got more than enough to keep him going!

The doctor asked if I was supplementing too I found it kinda insulting actually- like I was trying to chub-up my daughter on purpose or something. The time that the doctor said that was in the middle of a growth spurt- right after she'd put on a lot of weight but right before she lengthened out so she looked especially chubby.
