Bigger Babies Club

kte- chloe looks very tall, izzy is the same she towers above her little friends.

Its so scary how fast they are growin up, i actually cry when izzy does something really grown up! lol. she is 16 months now.

On the "big" baby subject- some of izzy's 18-24 month tops are so tight, i mean really, i know she is a big girl but surely not the size of a two year old???? tescos are the worst! x

(have enclosed a couple of photos of Izzy looking grown up, luckily she has not much hair otherwise people would think she should be at school! lol)

Aww she looks gorgeous :flower: I think I am glad Chloe doesn't have so much hair, it kind of helps! I'm liking the relaxed Izzy pose in her little chair. We have that little tea pot too :D

sharing a pic of my chubby :)

Awww :D So cute. He's doing well supporting himself too :flower:

What is it with babies peeking into baths?! Chloe still does it now :haha:

Can I join please :flower: My little lady was 9lb 0.5oz born, and now at 16 weeks 1 day she weighs 19lb 1oz and is about 66cm tall (I measured her myself so don't know how accurate that is)

I'm struggling to keep up with her clothes, she's already in 6-9 and some 9-12 months clothes and not a lot seem to fit over her thighs coupled with a cloth nappy :dohh:

Go booby juice though!! :happydance:

:hi: Hello & Welcome Dimbo
I just realised 9lbs and at home too, well done you! :flower:

Can I join in ladies? My lo was only 8lb 10oz at birth, but now at 7 months old he's growing out of 12-18 month clothes and nobody ever believes he's 7 months old :s xx

:hi: & welcome too RiverSong :flower:

Here's a new picture of Rosalina. She was 17lbs about 3 weeks ago so I'm sure she's over 18 now! She's grown out of 6 month clothes and is in 9-12 month! I ordered a Mei Tai carrier to help me carry her around when we go out.. my poor arms! I'm still having an awful time with my back! I'm sure it takes a long time to get back to normal after being pregnant, but with how heavy my baby is, maybe my back just can't heal.

You'll feel great once you master the back carry. I carry Alex (8 months yesterday, 24lbs) on my back for 2-4 hours a day, including 2 straight hours of hiking with the dog. No problem at all!!!!

Wow, she's a cutie! She doesn't look that big, if you don't mind me saying. Is she long? Because my LO weighs about the same (19lb) and is so so chunky. And is almost out of all of her 6-12 months too, into most things 9-12 and only has 2 skirts that fit, one 1-1.5 years and one 1.5-2 years! They are meant to be short skirts, but are long on her as I can't get much over her thighs :haha:

I'm also with you on the carrier and back problems. I had problems anyway, but carrying her up and down 3 flights of stairs every day is painful! I have a connecta and a baby hawk and I wouldn't be without either.

I did have one with her smiling just after this one was taken, but it's not on this computer.

Alex has always been a big baby (9lb 3oz born) but he is now tipping the scales at nearly 24lbs and just turned 8 months yesterday. He's not mobile in any way yet (sitting, cruising, crawling) so he just eats and gets fatter, lol. He is now in 12-18 month sleepers.

Wow, she is a big girl! Go booby juice indeed! Hats off to you, I got the epidural on day 3, just couldn't cope. I love my sling too.

I would have gone for the epi if it'd gone onto day three too!!! mine was just over 24 hours from first contraction to her being born.

24 is still long :) Good for you! But then you were also a home birther, I think a home birth is just a more relaxing experience with little intervention. Your girl is coming up to her 4 month growth spurt, I wonder how much she'll gain!? LOL

Dimbo: I love the 3/4 month stage, it's when their little personalities start to show :D My niece was a similar build when she was about that age, she is very tall now. Are you and/or hubby tall? Just wondering with you saying she is short :flower:

jules: Rose looks adorable :flower:

Aliss: Alex reminds me of how my nephew looked when he was a baby (he's 9 now) - very cute little chap who will charm lots of people with those lovely eyes!

Chloe is currently in 12-18 or 12-24 month clothes. I'm fed up tho as she has some really nice tops that fit yet the sleeves are too short, too long to pass off as 3/4. Today she had a decent top on but it popped out the end of her coat sleeved :dohh: If the sleeves are right the body is too big

Oh my gosh there's such cute babies in this club!! :D Rose is very long, her sleepers need to be 12 month!
