Scally - Chloe always screams the place down too She is younger than Izzy but I don't think she will be a crawler. She loves bouncers and so is building her leg strength up in them, I find it hard to get her to sit down now as she locks her legs and wants to stand. She has just started to bum shuffle (literally last night) so I think she won't be a crawler!

Erica was 7 lb 13 born, but jumped to 98th centile!!
Shes a tall stocky solid girl! .. my first, danni, was nearly 9lb.

And now shes 5, is the tallest in her class... gangly and lanky though lol

omg i just had EJ weighed and hes 6.78 kg at 6wks old he was 4.880 at birth and got down to 4.480 after a week so hes done really well for being solely breastfed

i had my MW appt today and she said the baby feels really long! just like Harriet so im guessing both my two will be in this club x

Can i ask parents of older babies- did your LO do things a little later than most? such as crawling? Izzy is not even attempting it, but we were wondering maybe it is hard for her to support her weight? She sits fine, lifts her head when lying on her stomach but nowhere near crawling yet.
How is everyone and your LO's?
We had Izzy weighed yesterday and she was 20lb 1 oz! Bless her, still on the same centile. And for once she didnt scream the place down! lol

My baby is no longer big... when he was born he was on 99.8th centile and stayed there until 5 weeks ago when he went down to 75th and now hes on 50th!! They now wanna weigh him every week as they are worried!

He is still a lil guzzler tho so i have no idea??

Oh gosh Xerinx hope everything is okay

Chloe kept on shooting up the centiles when she was little and then evened out: hopefully Logan will do the same in reverse (and just even out)

He should be fine he seems happy enough in himself he had 42oz of milk yesterday so its not as if he doesnt eat!!!

ds1 started dragging himself around and going backwards at 4 1/2 months and walking round the edge of the furniture at 6 months but didnt walk on his own till 15 months, almost all the babies in his birth club were walking before him except for one set of twins who are the same size and EDD as him but arrived 10wks prem

my 6 week old had that much yesterday its a fulltime job producing the amount of breastmilk this baby wants

How are we all ladies and our LO's?

I wish I knew how much Chloe weighed now, down side of being back at work full time. I don't trust the home scales, (they lie honest!). Mind you it might be a bit easier to weigh her now she can sit up as I can just sit her on them. I may give that a go tonight!

I have just stumbled on this group..can I join ? I knew towards the end of my pregnancy that Emily was going to be big...maybe 8lbs or so...but I wasn't prepared when she arrived weighing 9 lbs 10 oz...she was also 23 inches long...considering I am only 5 feet tall with a medium build...she was a huge baby..my husband is slim and 5'9" tall and I had a normal pregnancy and ate mostly fruits and vegtables. I tested negitive for GD..so she was just a big girl..well she hasn't stopped from there. We brought Emily home wearing size 3month..and size 1 diapers..by the time she was 6 weeks she had moved up to size 6 month clothing and size 2 diapers. Now that Emily is almost three months old she is in size 6-9 month ( depending on the maker of clothing ) and is in size 3 in diapers. I BF with no supplments and she has slept through the night since she was 5 weeks old..most nights it's 10pm -7am..I think she eats normally. We are in a play group and most infants her age still look like newborns to me. Here are couple of pictures taken of Emily when she was 10 weeks old..

welcome, your LO was the same birthweight as my first baby, with my younger son people dont believe me when i say hes 8 wks and my nealy 2 yr old is bigger than most 3yr olds

Hello ladies! thought id update on my fatty bum.. 13lb5 and 65cms :O..at just less than 3 months old! she is a monster child! Some lady in sainsburys didnt believe that Fi was only 11 weeks old earlier

My LO was 10lb 10oz when she was born a week overdue. She was weighed at 3 weeks old and was 11lb 9oz!

She is nearly not fitting in 0-3 month clothes any more and is only 4 weeks old!

She is being weighed again today so will update later!

Hi Can I join your club please ? Elle is 8 weeks now and a real lil puddin She was only 7lb 10 at birth but 4 weeks later weighed 10lb 12! Dread to think what she is now but I reckon close to 13lb if not more! She has been drinking 6 x 5 oz bottles since 3 weeks but seems to have levelled out now! My son was 8lb at 37 weeks and followed the 95th percentile until now lol, he is really tall and seems to have thinned out now he is six
