I went and got some the other day, one to get try to reduce the strech marks i already have left over from last pregnancy, and to try and minimise any this time. Has any used with with sucess? is it any good? :)

well iv been using it since i found out im pregnant and it stopped my belly itching, i dont have any stretch marks and i used a tiny bit on my face once a day and my skin is lovely really clear and no blotches

I've been using it since I found out I was pregnant and haven't developed any stretchies yet (touch wood..) but I have used it previously on scars and it's worked really well at fading them.

I used it everyday and night with my first and my belly turned into tiger stripes with all the stretch marks! Sometimes I just think you're either lucky or your not! It does make your skin nice and soft though x

I'm using it and don't have any stretchies on my belly yet - do have a few on my boobs tho.

TBH I don't believe anything really stops stretchies - only helps condition the skin so it recovers better iykwim? That's what I'm hoping anyway!

it didnt stop all mine from appearing, but its doing a bloody good job at fading them!! makes skin lovely and soft too :)

I'm the opposite, i used bio oil from 1st trimester and not had a single stretchmark appear on my belly since having LO.
However I have a few round my breasts where I forgot to use the oil :( they look really deep and dont know if the oil is going to shift them now, but will keep trying..

I've been using Bio Oil since for about 6 months, and I'm not really convinced it's doing anything other than giving us a nice feeling of closeness when OH rubs it in my tum. Its smells nice and feels nice but thats about all I think.

I never got any from my last pregnancy and i used Bio Oil, quite often too as i use it with my doppler!

I have been using it, although not religiously! I got my stretchies in the last 2 weeks. But they are not red raw and can hardly notice them, which I think could be to do with the oil.

i use bio oil and find that it reduces the redness of them :) Lloyds have it on half price at the moment too

Oh thanks for that pichi  might have to stock up, its making my skin lovely and soft :) so even if it doesnt prevent any more stretch marks i'll have great skin :haha:

i've noticed that my stretch marks havn't been itchy too when using bio oil either which is good :)

HALF PRICE Bio-Oil link

good thing is a bottle goes a loongggg way too so if you were to buy 2 bottles at say £7 that'd last you forever

I don't beluieve anything will stop you getting stretchmarks - it's down to genetics and the natural elasticity of your skin.
However, I think bio-oil does a good job of fading them and keeping them subtle.

I haven't used it religiously, but my lower belly is covered in stretchies. I find that if I use the bio-oil properly for a week or so their appearance does seem to lessen.

yeah, i agree with that. mines are a pale pink and they don't itch

I have been using it and touch wood at 32 weeks I still dont have any.

I think my belly looks like a big white snooker ball after I use it and OH seems to enjoy watching me rub it everywhere :)

Don't forget to use it on your bum and thighs as well as your tummy!!

I had neglected these areas and now they've exploded all over my bum :(

I read really good things about cocoa butter too, I've started using that in the mornings and bio oil in the evenings. Lets hope it works!!xx
