BirchBox or GlossyBox?

Hi, I'm thinking about possibly signing up to either of these schemes, but not sure which one is better value for money. Sort of swaying towards BirchBox to be honest, but the postage cost kind of put me off. Any reviews?

I just signed up for Ipsy. The reviews I've read have said it WAY better than Birchbox but between the two you've listed, I read that Birchbox was a lot better. Though, that's not from experience just what I've read online!

As far as I know Ipsy is still US only. I've had both glossybox and birchbox and I got a reeeally good glossybox and a great birchbox and then a few dud ones. I think it's the luck of the draw x

I get Birchbox. I haven't tried the other...I like it. Like someone else said I've had some that were amazing and some that were just meh.

Not tried Birchbox but have tried a few a was signed up to Glossybox ages ago for a while and to be honest they're all a bit of a waste of money. I ended up just collecting endless samples that I never really used.

I cancelled my Glossybox subscription as I really wasn't impressed. But I've had Birchbox for 3 months now and I love it. Have received some really nice high end samples/full sized products .

I ordered the £10 glossy box cause didn't want to sign up Incase I didn't like it but I'm still waiting on it and it was ordered last week.

Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to look into one that's a little more personalised rather than complete surprises; I only really want face products and make up

I signed to Birchbox as I was waiting so long for it to come to the UK!
Then Glossybox came along and had to kind of weigh things up by looking online at other people who had one or the other and anyway in the end Birchbox won I have been subscribed for quiet a few months now and I would say its totally worth it.
