Birth announcement

is there anyone whos planning to put your babys birth announcement in your local newspaper once you've had them?
i think itd be a really nice thing to be able to keep and show them when they are olderx

I doubt I'll do it simply because no one around here would care at all cos I don't know that many locals If I was near my family and stuff I probs would. But I'm deffo gonna buy all the main papers that are out the day she's born and keep them cos I think it's really cool how you can buy copies of the paper from the day you were born but how cool to have the ACTUAL ones? x

I wouldn't bother probably as I wouldn't think of it, but I know they are planning on it.

I'm the same, the whole time I was doing Evie's scrapbook I was like GOD MUM why did you not do this for me? Even my baby book hardly has anything in it cos my dad passed away when I was 6 months so understandabley my mum was in no mood to do things like that. But yeah I can sympathise, when my dad died his friends clubbed together and got me a gold heart from h samuel with 'i love you' on it that was meant to be like from my dad and I got given it when I was about 9 which imo was too soon cos although I sorta understood and appreciated it I didn't get just how precious it was and I wore it too school and all sorts and ended up losing it. I'm sooo gutted to this day xxx

I got given my dads guitar when he passed away as it was like his favourite thing ever, but I was only 8 and had no interest in learning to play it properly, now I can actualy play I'd love to be able to use it but it's trashed from so many year of being thrown around and messed around with. I still to this day don't understand why my family thought it would be a good idea to give it to me when I was so young.

I would love to be able to put her birth in the paper. But because of that stupid fuck FOB I can't for safety reasons I'm absolutely gutted about it.

I would have liked to but I don't know how i would do it if it was me and FOB or just me which wouldnt look very good so decided not to bother.

yeah we should do that, like if everyone did one from a different state in the Us and Canada and we did ones from the UK then sent them to Ally she would have loads of different foreign ones to go in a baby book

OMG thats such a good idea, im going to have to get in contact with all my worldwide friends somehow now and get them to post me a birth announcement in the local paper hehehe
