Blood Test

How many dpo do you typically need to be for a positive blood test? I'll be 9dpo tomorrow and have a gyn appointment. He's going to want to know if I'm pregnant and since I can't give an answer I'm hoping they'll order a blood test but I don't know if that would even show positive if I was.

A blood test would show positive by 9dpo but the rests may be very low...I've gotten BFPs by 9dpo before.
