Bloody show experiences

FTM here. 38 weeks 3 days. I had a bloody show yesterday morning (thick mucus with blood in it).

Can you tell me about your bloody show experiences? How long before you went into labor?

With my first baby I gave birth the next day.
With my second I was already in labour when I started losing it.

I only lost a little with my first but I was already overdue and I went into labour a few days later. With the rest I lost it during labour.

I never really lost mine before labour, the day I went into labour I had this wet feeling all day like I couldn’t get dry but wasn’t bloody or mucus like but I expect it was part of it, that started in the morning and waters broke late that night.. good luck

Only remember seeing it with my first, and I had been contracting for a few hours at that point, although he wasn't born for another 30 hours

I only ever saw it with my 3rd baby. I was in triage already because of regular contractions. They checked me shortly after and I was 5 or 6 cm. I'm assuming with my 1st and 2nd it happened during labor but I didn't notice for whatever reason.
