BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Ruby had
B - Oat crisp and raisins
L - Buttered homemade hot cross bun
Snack - Organix strawberry and pear smoothie (LOVED this)
D - 2 fish fingers, lots of homemade pot wedges, brocolli

Re the spoon question - Ruby eats cottage pie and lasagne with her hands. Neither are particular favourites though tbh.

B: Toasted veda with crusts cut off
L: 1 egg scrambled, melon, yoghurt, breadstick
S: Banana
D: 1 Sausage with mashed potatoes with carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and peas, more melon (was also worried about the salt in the sausage today but we were at my mums and stuck for anything else. But he actually ate it - 2nd meat-eating day in a row!)

yesterday...

B Porridge, shreddies, mango, banana and pear
L VERSION I: tuna pasta salad...threw it on the floor.
VERSION II: (I was out for late lunch with friend, thought DD would like to eat first!) Turkey sandwiches, organic yoghurt, half a scone, pear
S Half home made spinach and cheese muffin
D Cod, mashed sweet potato, sugar snap peas, broccoli. Fruit only jelly, yoghurt

I love reading this thread but always read it on my iphone during the bedtime feed and can't be bothered with the faff of posting. Today Helen had...

B: mini shredded wheats with semi skimmed (no full fat left:blush:), most of a banana
S: Breadstick, few grapes cut in half, she wasn't impressed with them!
L: Cracked Wheat crispbreads dunked into pea and mint soup, about half an orange
S: Couple of sticks of cucumber
D: Chicken curry salad, peach and sweet fennel yogurt, strawberries

B. Few mini weetabix with milk, half a banana, greek yog mixed with bit of fruit puree
D. 2 fish fingers, 2 apple rice cakes, couple cherry toms, other half of banana (didnt touch it)

Not sure when to add lunch in. Ive given him it a few times but hes dropped his milk when I given it to him.. when can they start dropping milk? Is it 6 months or later then that?

Adam cut down on his milk feeds at around 6.5-7 months, IIRC, he didn't drop a bottle early on but started leaving more and more, so I cut down from 8oz to 7oz, later down to 6. Not long after that we dropped the lunchtime bottle, so he was having milk first thing, bedtime and around 4pm.

Today he has had:

b: a few mini Shredded Wheats & milk, a few strawberries, 1/2 a banana
l: a Marmite sandwich, about 1/2 a small mushroom, tomato & cheese omelette, a satsuma
s: a few Ella's Kitchen breadsticks and a few Organix carrot puffs
d: grilled garlic chicken, broccoli, 1/2 a large baked potato, tomato, a little houmous

I haven't really posted in a while as, well lately everything has just been getting chucked on the floor, today was a pretty good day though

B - bite size weetabix - he had about 12 of these
L - banana on toast - ate a little threw the rest on floor and screamed
D - Chicken casserole, fresh crusty and plum baby fromage frais

I find when I offer snacks, he seems to eat very little at meal times. This can be difficult if I am having something as he obviously wants share too.

B: ready brek and bit of toasted pancake
L: potato & leek soup and wheaten (we were out for lunch)
D: leftover pasta and sausage in cream sauce with parsley, carrots, yoghurt and a peach

I sometimes offer snacks but not all the time. My LO is never very interested but I do try to make him eat something if we're out and about.

B: Half a Weetabix moistened with water (flippin' stuff sticks to everything)
L: Bit of bread (sucked and chucked) and tomato (loves the tomato) and a plum (loves plums!)
D: Chinese fried rice (had strips of egg, carrot, sweetcorn and mushrooms in it) and another small plum

He's been trying his new doidy cup out too.

B: blueberries & shreddies
L- attempt 1 (a bit early 12:15) half a sweetcorn muffin, the Philadelphia I spread ona large ricecake
L- attempt 2 (he was hungry when we were out 13:30) 3 adult breadsticks, organix oaty bar, cheese & onion twist (croussanty type thing) humzinger
D: pasta bolognese - he seems much better with pasta now he can stab it with a fork insted of using hands, fromage frais, raisins

B: bitesize sheeddies in full fat milk, banana
L: 1/2 a teacake with butter and superjam, bit of plain muffin with butter, cucumber, couple of grapes, still not impressed
S: breadstick, bit of apple ricecake
D: noodles with tomato and pepper sauce. Didn't eat much so ricecake with cream cheese, refused yogurt which is very unusual.

Rice with green curry sauce.

Glad Sophia enjoyed her special birthday food, Shiv. :D

Lil C, a Humzinger is a 100% fruit stick snack with no added sugar, which is really soft and easy to eat; each is the equivalent to one portion of fresh fruit. Lots of LOs love them, including mine. :)
