Hi I am new here! We started BLW 6 days ago :)

Breakfast
Bobby didn't have anything to eat for breakfast as he was too obsessed with trying to get his free flow cup's spout in his mouth.

Lunch
Little pizza pastries that I made and some pasta with tomato sauce.

We are not doing dinner yet as he is too grumpy to eat before bed.

Quick question. I was thinking about making steak for lunch in the next few days. Do you think its ok to give some to Bobby?

My LO has a tough time dealing with meat, so I need to cut it small or shred it for him - it is getting better now that he (finally) has a few teeth. The BLW book does say that though babies generally can't bite & chew meat that young they can gum & suck on it and get some nutrients that way. In the book they offer a big piece for the baby to gum, suck and play with (I never did this though) In general stew meat or mince is much easier to manage than steak.

With my LO, I would just offer him everything and see how he did with it. For him whole meat and raw apple were really hard at first. xx

I gave George big strips of steak & lamb early on & he realy enjoyed gumming them - I tried to offer them towards the end of the meal though after he'd tried other things; otherwise he would just suck on that for ages & ignore everything else.

Thank you for your tips Sun and Joeyjo!

Breakfast
Weatbix (I used formula milk) -- seemed to really like it :D He kept going back for more! He also had some fruit.

Lunch
We went out and he had a Cobb Salad (no dressing or cheese). He totally attacked the lettuce like it was going to escape and stuffed it in his mouth :)

I love BLW it really is such a pleasure!
