BLW - what did your LO eat today?

heh, yes Shiv, oh my goodness, it is amazing. :lol: it was my mum's idea to put Marmite in pasta and try to persuade him to like it (thus far the only other way he'll entertain it is if it's mixed with Plum spinach & pesto sauce). I put creme fraiche in as well, and only really a teeny bit, the tip of a knife, of Marmite, so it's not so salty. Am thinking of trying a Marmite risotto now, because I have never managed to get him to eat rice other than once, when we had Chinese takeaway, and it really clumped together well, and he shovelled it in with his fists.
 
I love the tip about the Marmite in pasta. My LO isn't a big pasta or rice fan either but loves Marmite on toast so it could work!

Today he had:

B: weetabix, with EBM and some mushed mango
Sn: Half a mozzarella stick
L: Roast sweetpotato, butternut and courgette (left overs from supper), other half mozzarella stick, two mini rice cakes with low sugar strawb jam
Sn: A few tsp of custard, two more mini rice cakes with jam
S: Salmon and leek quiche, some pieces of pear

We're enjoying BLW so so so much now we're in the swing of it :)
 
Today Jacob had
B: Porridge
L: mozarella and tomato tart - he loved loved loved this, little slice crusty and about half a pear
S: 4 organix rice cakes
D: sausage, mash, carrots and baby corn, fromage frais
 
Today my LO had:

B: Weetabix with EBM
L: Leftover Salmon and leek quiche, grapes, a bite from a donut I was eating
Sn: Fromage frais, 4 mini rice cakes with philly and low sug strawb jam
S: Pasta with courgette, mushroom, pork strips and philly, more grapes, piece of ham, small bit of my pizza
 
today LO ate:

B: Weetabix with EBM and mushed up mango
Sn: some grapes and a couple of spoonfuls of custard with berries in it
L: Oat bread toast with jam and cheese, and ham and philly
Sn: Mozzarella stick
S: Oat bread toast soaked in veg and lentil soup, some bean mix (chick peas, white beans, kidney and green beans) in a tomato sauce
 
My LO is starting to eat more so thought would post on here

Breakfast: weetabix and ricecake with apricot spread
Snack: spelt biscuit pomegranate flavour
lunch: slept through! (onoly offering food when i eat atm)
Tea: Cucumber, tomato, carrot puff(organix snack thing) 1/2 roll with marmite on one 1/4 and mashed avacado on other 1/4. Little 'plum' fromage frais, some tinned fruit (what i was eating) half satsuma and an apple biscuit!!
The bits in red were extra usually bangs the table and 'shouts to get down but didn't tonight just kept offering and he kept eating!!
 
B 2 potato cakes with olivio, slice of toast with raspberry spread, half banana
S half my carrot cake, tomato & red pepper ricecake, banana, 2 dates
L dairylea & red pepper sandwich, yellow dahl, sweetcorn, cheese
D wagamamas chicken katsu curry & rice (half a kids portion), few udon noodles, taste of White choc & Ginger cheesecake, 5 dates
 
Today:

B: Baby biscuits soaked in EBM
L: Omelette with philly and peas, three mini rice cakes with low sug jam
S: Couscous salad with courgette, tomato, mozzarella balls, avo, butter beans and some philly so that it ould be rolled into balls (easier to handle), pineapple chunks
 
Today bun had:

B: oatmeal, 1/2 apple, blueberries
L: hummus on rice cake, applesauce, sweet potato pancake
D: brown rice pasta, veggie sauce, 2 meatballs, 1/2 banana

Also Bun is a year old!!! So we celebrated with a little coconut ice cream!! :happydance:
 
today:

L: Butter beans, oat bread toast with philly, grapes
Sn: Half a mozzarella stick, some custard with berries
S: Tomato, onion, mozzarella and basil tart, kiwi fruit
 
My LO is finally eating more than applesauce and oyster crackers!
Yesterday:
B: Cherry applesauce, apple cinnamon puffs
L: Bites of pizza. Mostly soft crust with some sauce on it.
D: Corned beef and cabbage
 
B - BIG bowl of cereal half cheerios half weetaflakes, half banana
S - 3 plum pecorino breadsticks, 3 dates
L - 2 slices of bread with dairylea
S - pecorino breadstick
D - medium baked potato, chicken, sweetcorn, 4 whole baby carrots roasted, 1.5 asparagus. Greek yogurt (approx 200ml!)
S - few blueberries, half banana
 
B: weetabix and a banana
S: crumpet buttered
L: 2 slices apple and sultana bread toasted
D: Pasta bolognese, melon and grapes
 
Adam had:

b: mini cranberry wheats & milk, banana, raisins
l: 2 large ricecakes spread with unsalted butter and Marmite, a plum, apple slices, piece of buttered malt loaf
s: a Humzinger, another piece of buttered malt loaf
d: grilled salmon, buttered wholegrain baguette, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, a Little Yeos yogurt, dried cranberries
 
Today Bun had:

B: oatmeal, 1/2 apple, raisins
S1: sweet potato pancake, 1/4 banana, handful cheerios, 1/2 ginger cookie
S2: congee with shredded chicken and ginger
D: hummus on rice cake, avocado sushi, 1/2 banana

Bun is eating bananas!! WOO!! Finally some more fruit! xx
 
Emily had..

Breakfast.. scrambled eggs, rice cereal with cut fruit ( strawberrries and blueberries ) 4oz formual

Lunch.. peas,chicken and rice with a cup of yougert, 6oz formula

Dinner.. sausage, noodles, carrots with blueberry/apple sauce and juice

she had a cheese stick for PM snack

she also had another 6oz of formula before bed.
 
B: Cherry applesauce, cinnamon graham crackers
L: Grilled cheese sandwich
D: Sweet potato, rice cake, mixed veggies from our pot pie

B - Readibrek made up with water, natural yoghurt and banana/apple stirred in.
L - Just a rice cake and a piece of baked mango - she is still very fussy about lunch!
S - She will be having a homemade fish pie.
