BLW - what did your LO eat today?

just under 7mths she had ;
breakfast : toast and a thin scraping of marmite (first time and she loved it)
lunch : I made a pizza from scratch with my 6yr old and she helped herself - cheese, ham, mushroom topping and she had a slice of cucumber and two spinach leaves
dinner : 1 x roast spud, 3 bits of purple sprouting broccoli (only the tips) and 3 green beans
 
Veg balls sound good! How do you make them?

Veg balls just my own name for them :) Just sauted (or roasted) red pepper + onions, left over brown rice rolled into a ball with some mozzarella or philly.

That's very creative!

So do you just mix it all up with the cheese holding it together?

DH makes rice for lunch at work so I'll steal some of his ;)

L: 2 rice cakes with cream cheese, and 5 cheese puffs
d: burrito cassarole ( soft tortilla shell, minced beef (hamburger), kidney beans and seasoning)

he wasnt interested in breakfast and didnt eat a thing, lunch he ate most of, and dinner he wolfed down. where as yesterday he ate breaksfast and lunch and didnt want dinner.
 
today has been:

B: big bowl of Shreddies and yoghurt
L: Fallafel ball, toast, cheese wedge, half a fruit stick
S: Homemade spelt pasty with pea, chickpea and potato filling, rice pudding

Yes, I just roll the whole lot in a ball with cheese holding it together. I've also made them before with butternut, tomato or peas or any combo of veg. My LO really doesn't like veg but he likes cheese and rice so it's a good way to get him to eat his veggies :)
 
Sadie has had

B muffin with mashed banana and a plum
S 2 dried apricots- loved these!
L dairylea sandwich, humzinger, ham and avocado- she only really ate the sandwich as she was really tired for some reason so I offered her the ham and avocado later on.
D beef stew, steamed veg, roast potatoes, a little yeo yoghurt and 2 chunks of melon.
 
B- banana
L- lentils with pitta bread and rice and orange for pudding
D- cheese on toast

New food was the lentils cooked by my dad which she loved
 
today has been:

Lunch- muffin with peanut butter, apple, pear and banana
Dinner- turkey breast, roast potato, mashed potato, mashed sweet potato, carrots and half a Yorkshire pudding

I've made falafels from scratch but they were horrible! Need to give them another go as I love the bought ones but they're a bit pricey.

Ruby had y'day

B - small bowl of shreddies
L - 1.5 slices of toast with fruit spread, half a pack of Plum carrot savoury bakes (highly recommended! Only go them cos sainsburys delivered them by mistake but they're great.) Papaya
Snack - we were out - taste of a fruit bun and pain au raisin, the rest of the Plum biscuits
Dinner - Small bowl of pasta with tomato, leek and carrot sauce, cheese, fromage frais, humzinger, organix gingerbread man
 
Yesterday Daniel had pasta, meatballs and tomato sauce (He still isn't really eating anything yet though.)
 
Yesterday
B- oatmeal + egg
L- cheese, cucumber, bread, guacamole
D- salmon, shrimp, and asparagus in olive oil/garlic (loooved it?!)
 
today has been:

B: Yoghurt and some baby biscuits
L: was on the go, a wholewheat seed roll with mozzarella
Sn: fruit stick
S: Quorn and veg patty, piece of toast with philly, pineapple chunks
 
Yesterday
B & L - Applesauce and puffs
D - Spicy venison chili and corn bread. (He loved it!)

I love chili and venison! I think we will ha e chilli next week ;)

Today;

B- porridge With banana
L- Cream cheese and cucumber sarnie
S- Plum Organic apple spelt fingers
D- asparagus, new potatoes and chicken with a small satsuma for pudding

New food was the spelt fingers which we both enjoyed lol

L : a bit of carrot, a bit of broccoli (she got very excited about it & sang to it!) & an apple (i cut her a slice but she wasn't interested, & when she saw me eating the rest of it, she wanted it, so i gave it to her & she sucked on it for a while).
D : some baby corn (she loved it) & banana (she gave it a go!).

i was amazed she got food into her mouth, she sucked food, & she gnawed some bits off at tea time (though, naturally they came right out of her mouth). i just couldn't believe she was doing this all by herself!
