yeah cambridge diet is just shakes...!! Its hard work but you need to go in it with the right mentality!! :)

Ive attempted CD in the past but I wasnt THAT overweight so didnt have the determination.... how do you find it...?? I have a few shakes left... they are abit out of date but I dont really care :rofl:

But Im tempted to try again!!

I have my friends lil girls birthday party in 2 weeks, going away with the girls weekend after, then spain week after that!!

I need a big push... like MAJOR!!!

i found the first week hell, but after that it is so easy, its worth it for the results, quick and rewarding, i know alot of people believe the quicker it comes off it wont stay off but my OH did it and has kept it off as has my dad and he has kept it off also, i think i gained it back because i went from CD diet straight to food and shit food because i was preg and thought i could eat what i wanted.

I need to get some more shakes then... I only have 4 in the cupboard... although I only had half at a time... anymore I cant drink it!!

How much did u lose each week then?? I dont think I would put it back on either cos I have the right mind set to not..!! But yeh if I was pregnant I would of ate shit... in fact i did :rofl:

#hey hun, it is just 3 shakes a day, if your over 5foot 8inch then its 4 a day, its very expensive but very worth it, you have to be very determined because it isnt a diet you can cheat on, it wont work if you cheat and it only makes it harder.

185lbs is fantastic and more than a person, thats me and 2 of my baby. Wow thats amazing guys. Well done you are doing so well. keep the hard work up.

Its great because i get up and look at your thread and then a 9am i watch biggest looser on the tv. So addictive :hugs: :happydance: xxx

When i had Jaiden i wanted to lose all the weight fast, i wouldn't recommend it for the long term, but i know you are looking for a quick loss before your holidays, so i used slimfast but took it to the extreme.

I wasn't able to exercise, as i was stuck in hospital with jaiden for many months and didn't get time.

But i lost all my baby weight and more in 3 weeks, i really wouldn't recommend this for those long term because its a little like starvation lol. But its great for alot of quick weight loss. But does seriously restrict calories.

7am: Slimfast shake for breakfast.

10.30am: apple and slimfast pretzels as snack

12.30am: Slimfast shake for lunch.

3pm: Slimfast chocolate, caramel and peanut bar for snack.

6pm: Small portion of rice and salmon with veg for dinner.

I think it helped that i love slimfast shakes and food. Doing as much cardiovascular exercise as possible is fantastic too, keep up the spinning classes. And even walking on a treadmill at an incline is fantastic for weightloss. You need to try and get your heartrate up and pumping for at least 30minutes a day to really see results.

It takes a lot of determination but you'll get there. xxx

Is slimfast more expensive than cambridge?? At least with slimfast I can buy my own rather than going to see a counsellor and have to answer to them... in a sense!!

I know what ppl mean about losing the weight fast but I put the weight on quick, I have a history of depression and I can feel myself sinking that way due to how I look :(

I need to do something... and its my new week tomorrow... in a sense cos I get weighed on a tuesday!!

I think I remember it being about £40 pw but thats not bad when you think how much you spend on food in a week.... its cheaper than lighter life and its the same thing!!

Ive just emailed the counsellor for prices and stuff... will let you know xx
 
i pay 35.40 for a week thats for 3 a day, OH paid 49.something for 4 a day

No i'm pretty sure that slimfast is cheaper and like you say its convenient because you can easily get your hands on it. Boots and loads of the supermarkets are also always doing special offers on them and they are so easy to carry around in a busy lifestyle.

If you are determined and want fast weightloss now just for the next few weeks till your holiday then i seriously recommend it. xx

STOP putting yourself done, you are not a big fat beach whale, and you are in the process of losing weight so should be congratulating yourself. Not putting yourself down.
I don't think you are ever truely happy with your body, i know i'm not xx

your making the effort to lose the weight hun thats whats important. i let myself gain so much weight now i got to spend a fortune losing it all and will probably need a tummy tuck afterwards to repair the damage LOL.
