ive actually lost 15lbs since i started, only 3 since charting it on here so could you please use that as my total loss, makes me feel so much better knowing ive lost over a stone now :happydance:

I've lost 37lbs in total from my pre-preg weight (although most of that was down to morning sickness I hasten to add) and I'm about to start the cambridge diet at the beginning of next week, I have done it in the past but I wasn't in the right mindset and therefore I failed.

Just a quick note to add, the difference between slimfast and cambridge diet is that Slimfast DOES NOT provide all the minerals vitamins etc you need in a day, which is why you need a balanced meal with it to provide the basics for your body to survive on (plus you can cheat on a day and it wont really make a difference). It's is not a complete meal replacement plan and therefore the weight will come off evenly but slowly. It can also be a bit self perpetuating - I don't know about anyone else but when I eat something, I always want more, as apposed to if I don't eat, I'm not too fussed.

Whereas the cambridge diet (and lighter life too although that is far more expensive and has less variety) is a total meal replacement plan (sole source) and put your body into a state of ketosis where it burns the excess fat off - if you cheat you have to start all over again, the weight loss is quicker but you must be strict with yourself.

Im easing myself into it... gonna still have a meal on slimfast... as I totally understand about the whole nutrients bit..!!

Heey guys congrats on all ur fab weight loss,s and see kerry u did soo well. I wud of bn on last night but my pooorly archie poo,s is in hospital and again so we been in all night...man I'm fooked....I also had to have a kfc last night cus that was the only thing close to hospital....but I'm not going to be too hard on myself as it was really either that or nothing. And I got a whole week to loose it. And the funny thing is I dint enjoy it 1 bit id have so preferd a meal I've bn having. But o well man I'm soooooooo tired can't wait to be allowed home I've had likr 45 mins sleep.....congrats again every1 xx

Ive just made one of these slimfast shakes, and yup its not very nice :( oh well..!! As long as it does the job and stops me from eating the wrong foods...!!

The CD lady emailed me back last night... and after reading orange-sox's *ahem* essay :lol: Im very keen to give it another whirl..!! But I have enough stuff for slimfast for a week and then Im going to get a weeks worth off then CD lady!!

Im gonna need big SUPPORT on that... no fizzy drinks :(
 
Ok so far this week has gone SHIT! Ive eaten so much! And its all been crap i was on such a high after losing 3.5 last week.....and now ive gone and ruined it. Get weighed friday....not looking forward to it one bit :( XxX

May as well add me on this...56 pounds lost so far. I am heading for a 28 pound weight loss for May when I head to Florida.

Yes, I did it on CD...but, I admit I do not follow it completely. Sometimes, if I want a glass of pepsi max I just have it...if I followed it faithfully, I would have lost 7 stone...but, 4 is a good start.

Why are you thinking of going on CD? You seem to have a good weight loss...


cos it has really plateued and I have social events coming up and I DO NOT want to be this size... I need something to spur me on...
3 stone in 4 months is not good enough for me!! The CD counsellor hasnt emailed me back so think Im going to look into slim fast...!!

Prob with CD they wanted me to have 4 shakes a day and I couldnt drink all them... I dont like them :(


Well, last night I had Indian...could not resist. Am back on again...as usual!!! I think 3 stone in 4 months is great!!! I lost 4 stone 6 months...

As for CD...have you tried using the shakes in tea or coffee??? I use them instead of milk...and you can make muffins out of the shakes instead of just a drink....also, they have a cinnamon and apple porridge that is nice...

BTW - saw the pics...wow!!!

My back side had gotten slightly smaller and im on so far to date: 56lb since birth but on sw total of 36.5lb im having major issues at the moment if resulkted in drastic measures and im hoping for 10lb loss this week as i had a huge gain mon

drastic measure have resulted in good results though...since mon i have lost 5lb! (i did the cambridge but couldnt stick with it for more than a week so i have gone back onto my tablets, another lady mentioned shed used them before on here, phentermine...) you basically have no appetite and dont want to eat...similar to cambridge...i am going to do this for a week with very little food and then next week im using their meal replacement bars and foods..they have choc bars that are LUSH...and CRISPS!!! they are just soya though so are full of fibre! Its tommys christenin may 3rd so i have 6 weeks, my aim is to loose 1.5 - 2 stone by then...i only have 6lb to loose and im the lightest ive been in 4 years!!! still massive though and a size 22 border 20 in tops so bring on the weight loss as im going to try and choose an outfit in 3 weeks lol

WELL DONE EVERYONE your all doing fab!

Ive had about 900 kcal today with 2 shakes (slimfast) and Im so hungry... I cant see how they are meant to work?!? Cannot handle it.... :(
 
have something then chick, if u dont ul end up caving in and eating loads...have somethin with minimul calories....

i just weighed myself and 7lb loss since mon now, im back at the weight i was before my gain now and will go sw mon lol (total now back to 56lb)

yeh thats what im thinking...hun!! I finish work at 8pm... there are minstrels on my friends desk, choc biscuits in my boss drawer... and only me and my sis here!!

We have a menu for a kebab shop, cannot describe how tempting it is :(:(
