Well, what you need to do is answer these questions and give yourself points for the correct answer that fits you....

1. Are you:

Female = score 2
Male = score 8
A nursing mom = score 12

2. How old are you?

17 - 26 = score 4
27 - 37 = score 3
38 - 47 = score 2
48 - 58 = score 1
Over 58 = score 0

3. What do you weigh?

Enter the first 2 didgits of your weight in pounds. For example, if you weight 175, enter 17. If you weight less than 100 pounds enter the first digit of your weight in pounds, i.e. for 98 enter 9.

4. How tall are you?

Under 5'1" = score 0
5'1 - 5'10" = score 1
Over 5'10 = score 2

5. On most days of the week, how do you spend your day?

Sitting Down (receptionist, bus driver, office work) = score 0

Occcasionally sitting, but mainly standing? (sales person, housewife, cook, teacher) = score 2

Walking most of the time? (waiter, mailman) = score 4

Doing physically hard work most of the time? (nurse, gardener, construction worker) = Score 6

Now add up your score and that will be how many points you can have a day :headspin: You will have to recalculate your points as you lose weight.
 
ok so i got 24 point totals so i eat 24 points:)

Meil, if you want, I can get you a book the next time I go to WW and it will tell you all the point values of food. I think it only costs $10.... if you want. Let me know. It helps for getting a good idea....

But Most Veggies are 0 points... alot of fruit is 1 point. Banannas are 2 points. Just think, Low low fat, low calories, high fiber and your good to go. Chicken breasts are good. You can go to the website... www.weightwatchers.com but they dont have alot on the free side of the site. (I have not joined the pay side of the site)

Yeah you can get their bread or Get Sara Lee low cal (diet bread) 2 slices = 1 point :wohoo:

so what happen if you don't reach all your points during the day ?

like i see the progresso soup with 0 points if you had that for lunch and dinner?
 
Nothing really, but you can not carry them over to the next day. You do get 35 Point allowances for the week, but try not to use them. (I find if I do I dont do as well in the weight loss)

You need to eat to. You need 6 8 oz glasses of water a day, 5 fruits & Vegetables, 2 milks, and 2 Oils.

I found some really good thin slised 98% fat free deli meat and fat free cheese. Makes a great snack. 1 slice of the diet bread , mustard, 1/2 piece of cheese and the meet. Makes for a 1 point snack (if you find the meat that is 0 points)

I eat alot in a day....I have a breakfast, a snack, a lunch, a snack, and dinner, and ICECREAM! :rofl: OH and beer.

Miller just came out with a 64 cal beer that is only 1 point :headspin:

8 oz glass of Wine is 2 points.
 
i am going to go groceries shopping on sunday :)

i weigh myself this morning and i was at 168 pounds i am 5'7 tall was at 164 10 days ago ...i wonder if having AF is affecting my weigh but i will weigh myself again on Sunday :)
anyway i will love to be 150 by the time we go to VEGAS Suz!!!

PS: i used to be in around 145 pound gain a lot of weigh 3 years ago went up to 188 pounds !!! and in a year i shed them off and was 145 so i can do it i am sure:) i just need to get back to my exercise routine during the week !

I weigh-in on Monday :argh: I hope to have got off 1-2 lbs. I have started my exercise dvd again :wohoo: I aim to do it 3 times a week, because I know these last lbs will be the hardest to shift plus I need to get toned up.

Diet-wise I'm doing good but I am finding it hard to eat my points (I'm on 20) I counted last night I had only ate 13 1/2 so I had an eclair and some porridge to at least get 18 into me.

I will be happy to get off 1-2 lbs off per week now but I have learned alot about my food intake in the last 3 weeks. I have learned that there is lots of great food out there if you look for it.:cloud9:

I hope everyone else is doing good too :)

omg ive had such a bad few days...ive binged on chocolate...even a pizza...chips...omg, if i lose anything this week it'll be amazing...
I dont know...i blam my OH...he'll sit and say things like "u dont realise how amazing this is...it tastes so good...bet u wish u can have this...id better eat double for you" and my enthusiasm has gone out the window..but tomorrow...thats it, im gunna wear ear plugs and im gunna start all over again!!
So disappointed in myself..
