use a tea towel and whifted the area around the smoke... OH has to do it sometimes

I'd have to dislocate it from the wall and I'm scared to do that... last time it went off ( ) I just pressed the reset button but noe it's not working.

Maybe there's a certain amount of time a person is allowed to almost burn their home?
