I've not posted on this thread for ages... but almost finished "Floating Staircase" by Ronald Malfi ... only 1.91 on amazon for the kindle edition. It is really good!

I just read Silver Wedding by Maeve Binchy on the weekend (blew through it in a day! I love her books), and now I'm reading China Mieville's The Scar.

I need to get a move on a get this book finished - as only a week or two until baby arrives and once that happens no hope of reading again.

Just finished Afterwards by Rosamund Lupton, it was absolutely fantastic

I just read Pines and Wayward by Blake Crouch (don't know if it's already been mentioned, not read the full thread) but it was brilliant! Very creepy - the 3rd one isn't out until next year though. He's now my new favourite author for easy to read books. Am reading Abandon by him at the moment and enjoying it so far :)

that one step too far ok - but you do have to get to the end to have a clue what going on.

I am still reading Casual Vacancy - up to 80% and still got no idea what the point of the story is, but determined to finish it.
