Could I have some book recommendations please? The last two books I read and really enjoyed were Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and The Last Letter from Your Lover by Jojo Moyes. Not sure what to read next!

Also which reader do you ladies use for your ebooks and would you recommend it? I might ask OH to get me one for Christmas :)

I recently enjoyed Horns by Joe Hill and for something completely different, I am now halfway through a very interesting novel called Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke.
Gone Girls is on my list!

Wow Horns sounds really interesting! I'm putting it on my list.

I'm now reading Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death by MC Beaton. Good so far!

I love this thread, so glad I found it :)

Horns was a great read. NICE twist at the end, too - I didn't see it coming at all! I have never read anything by Joe Hill and quite enjoyed his style. They are turning it into a film with Harry Potter, I mean, Daniel Radcliffe as the lead. All jesting aside, I think he may be very well cast for that and they certainly have the material from the book for an excellent thriller. I am interested to see how the movie turns out.

By the way, we have a BnB books and reading section that is a little too quiet. If anyone wants to do a reading club or discuss certain books or genres in more depth, the tiny core of us who use it would love your company! :flower:

Currently I'm reading wolf's gift and loving it!

GOOD book!
I read that this summer and really enjoyed it! Anne Rice really outdid herself on that one. I read Interview with a Vampire and Lestat many many years ago, but I had forgotten what a great storyteller she was. I really think she's vying for Queen of the Genre title. She writes circles around most of the other "paranormal " writers I've read in the last while.

Just finished one step too far and i really liked it

Dont know what to read next

Just finished Blood Ties by Sam Hayes which was very good. Started the 3rd book in the divergent series.

Im starting Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes tonight

What's one step too far about? Still reading wolfs gift. Ridiculously excited about the bnb book challenge x

I'm reading the first Harry Potter book in Spanish, another Holocaust memoir, and A Breath of Snow and Ashes (all depending on my interest at that particular moment)

We've got a group set up on Goodreads hun and we usually pick a book a month to read and then discuss it, but for November we've set ourselves a challenge of reading all of or as many of the Harry Potter books as possible. We also have a separate one book challenge too - Virals is one of the books on that for November. If you want to come join us then add me or Siyren on goodreads and we'll add you into the group, or if anyone else wants to too - all are welcome xxx
