Boots own brand nappies - any good?

We got some newborn Boots ones when DD was born, we stocked up on them too and they were awful for us. They fitted badly, wee and poop leaked out... Urgh! What a waste!
That said, we didn't get on with Huggies either, and some people love them! We used pampers for a while, but now use Asda little angels
