Thought this was the best place to ask the question ...

How do you/did you find was the best way to warm bottles up? Im debating whether its worth buying a bottle warmer or to just do it the old school way and use a jug of water lol

I don't warm Jessies bottles she has them room temp. When I was in hospital and using their premade SMA bottles they were all room temp so I stuck with that. Makes it easier when out and about too xXx

Grace has them room temp as well. Sometimes I warm them up in a bottle warmer for her last bottle before she goes to bed as sometimes it helps her sleep better

i have a flask full of water at the correct temperature so i just have to pour it into the bottle and add the powder! seems to be working out well. i have a smaller flask for when i am out and about!

I did the jug and water for both of mine, so it was just aired
I used to make mine up in batches and put them in the fridge so they needed warming just slightly

I did have a warmer for Emily but it took about the same amount of time, so it ended up in the back of a cupboard

Ive been thinking the same pp!!
i think im going to get a bottle warmer as it seems the easiest (laziest)option lol

i started Jack on room temp bottles but heated it once and he just loves them hot. so i bought a bottle warmer yesterday. i find it great and its really quick :happydance: hes taking his bottles much better now that they are hot.

I make my bottles in batches (24 hours worth at a time and stick them in the fridge) and use a bottle warmer to warm them up--which I love, just plug it in, stick the bottle in and go change her diaper :D

I do the same and it works out brilliantly. I tired reheating the bottles using the kettle and a jug, and then bought a bottle warmer thinking it would be quicker - which is was slightly, but unfortunately my little boy is very impatient when it comes to bottles!! I find using the above method the quickest and easiest way.

i use hot water.... although today when out and about I gave it to her quite cold... cos it came from the fridge then went in a bag!! She drank it all the same!!

that is such a cleaver idea :)

Well as you're supposed to make each bottle up fresh....they don't need warming up but cooling down in a jug of cold water.

If I use a ready mixed carton I give at room temperature.

Yep there is that way too, i suppose it all depends on your methods for making bottles up

Chloe has hers at room temp so I take one out the fridge a few minutes before her feed to warm up a bit. TBH though, Ithink she would have it out the freezer, she's not fussy, and mik is milk to Chloe however it comes!!

i think that too!! like i said courtney had it cold yesterday.... was desperate!! but she drank the lot!

I just used a jug & hot water

TIP

A plastic jug will heat a bottle quicker than a glass jug :D

my mum has said to do it like that too. I didnt know if it was any quicker/easier to use a bottle warmer.
