Sorry not being horrible, it looks a good idea but just noticed it takes 15 mins to heat, Jack struggles to wait 15 sec when he wants a bottle!!!!

I used to warm Colton's in the microwave. I know, I know! A big no no. But I found as long as I was checking the temp often until I got used to exactly how long I could microwave it they were fine.
I used to do it ten seconds at a time (if they had been in the fridge), then I got to were I knew exactly how long it needed to be (it was like 7 second in my mothers microwave, but like 13-15 in ours).

Ever since he started teething though, he REFUSES to take them warm. He will spit that bottle out and scream for some cold milk. So now he gets them straight from the cold tap. Somestimes, even alittle colder.

Tabs has room temp as her type of milk goes seriously gloopy when warmed or done from hot water.

I'm the same as MarchBaby (bad Mummys!)...I wasn't going to admit using the microwave unless someone else did. Thing is, a midwife told me to do it

I generally make them up to use them though, so I don't microwave a lot

(see how I'm trying to redeem myself lol!)

they used to do it like this back in the day :)

Iv brought a bottle warmer Holly but dont know if ill even use it much. As i was going to make up bottles when needed they wont need heating anyway. I wouldnt bother getting one if i was you... If you decide you want one or its easier for you to have one when baby is actually here then get one!

I dont care, I microwave!! I know exactly how many seconds to put it on, its never too hot..just lukewarm and it works for me. MY OH uses the pot and water and always overheats the bottle. :dohh:

I use the microwave too - when Jack wants a bottle, he has to have it NOW & waiting around for kettle to boil then to warm the milk was impossible, as is making fresh & cooling which takes even longer! I always shake the milk thoroughly to avoid 'hot spots', but never warm it so it would be too hot anyway.
