Bottles to beaker question

When did you change over from bottles to beakers? My DS is coming up for 1 and Im keen to ditch the bottles and steriliser thats been taking up space on my worktop for 2 years!!! Ive given him his lunchtime milk now as cold cows milk in a beaker instead of a mid morning bottle. He seems happy enough and even drinks it himself But he sort of sips at it like you would a normal drink, not like a huge glug as if it was a bottle.

So...what receptacle did you plump for post-bottle?
Did you give cows milk hot or cold?
How did LO take to it, did you introduce it gradually?
And finally... what the hell do I do with allk the bottles and teats that seem to have multiplied in my cupboard??!!
