Most are open. Here they are always manic and its much better to got

Ohhh i love it! Madder the better. Its Zachs birthday on the 4th so needing to go into town and get him some bits, and call me tight, but i thought i'd wait until everything was on sale I love miles away and the bus is a half an hour journey each way so dont want it to be a waste of time. Thanks girlies

I can't imagine a worse hell than having to spend boxing day fighting off other people in the shops. Too many years of working the sales!

To answer you question though the brands/franchises will pretty much all be open, and shopping centres, independent shops probably not.
