Hi all,

We quite like the name William but didn't use it first time round as we would nickbame him Will, and our surname sounds like a verb (I.e. "Will do-this, Will do-that") (not something he'd want to be associated with either!). Spelling isn't the same.

Do you think this is a problem, or should we go for it if we like it?
(Not pg yet & hoping for a girl so I don't have to worry about it! Ha ha)

Xxx

Eh that's one reason I'm not a huge fan of the name Will/William...

I would think of other names, personally, or maybe nn him Liam?

Yeah I wondered about Liam, but I like the classic sound of Will....
I guess I'll have to explore some alternatives if no2 turns out to be a boy!

Thanks :)

I would say no, unfortunately "Will" wont work with your last name... sorry.
