Yup, as long as you are stood over the microwave as you did it. Burnt chocolate is a sin against nature itself
Melt the chocolate in a glass dish or pyrex jug and stir it every 20 seconds or so until it looks like it is very nearly there. Any little lumps will melt with the warmth from what has already melted.
Pretty much the same with the cream cheese and icing sugar but mix the hell out of it each time you check on it. It only needs warming and blending through not cooking.
Just don't put it back in the 'BING' when you have added the whipped double cream and it should be absolutely fine
