Hi, I've been getting a rash on my boobs just where the pad goes. Can anyone recommend any good pads that maybe are for sensitive skin/hypoallergenic? I use boots slimline ones atm. Thanks!

I didn't get a rash, but my nips turned red and hurt. My midwife said the pads were not good. She suggested using a handkerchief. Since I started doing that, I haven't had any problems since. I keep my breasts clean by wiping them several times during the day and changing the handkerchiefs. Good luck.

I use Lansinoh and Tommee Tippee breast pads and haven't experienced any rash. Are you able to do without breast pads during the day at all? Using them only at night has helped my nipples to go back to 'normal' (as opposed to rather sensitive) very quickly.

Have you tried washable pads? And I do it the other way round to sapphire- I use pads in the day since I don't want to leak in public, and go without at night and put up with wet pjs.

I would either try cotton washable pads or go pad-less for a few hours each day,as its probably not the brand of pad but just the fact its stopping air getting to the breast, its probably a heat rash.

I got really itchy with certain pads, but found that Lansinoh were ok. They were also most absorbent.

Thanks! I've bought some lanisoh pads today, so we'll see how they go!
