Breastfed babies; do yours eat much?

DS is still nursing, but he only grazes during the day and he's never really had a full meal. Starting BLW around 10 months (he's now almost 16 months).

Is this normal?

He's always been a big boy, and he's maintained his weight and has never lost any.. he's about 32" tall and 25lbs. He's leaned out A LOT since he started walking/running, but he doesn't have much appetite. I feed him a variety of foods, he loves everything.. but he has a few bites and loses interest.

Anyone else?

Mine doesn't eat much at all. She's 18 months old and would much rather breastfeed all day. I couldn't even count how many feeds she has a day (and night!) as there's so many. Some days like today she will surprise me and eat a good amount, but even that isn't anywhere near the amount most toddlers her age eat. She just picks at food and then gets bored and wants the breast! She's only 21 lbs and is quite small for her age.

I'm sure that they are getting all the energy and nutrition they need from breastmilk though and they won't let themselves starve. I so worry sometimes but then try to remind myself that they will eat more in time

My LO is 8.5 months and is BF, started BLW at 6 months, and she loves real food! She also enjoys her milk, but it's rare that she would turn down table food. Every baby is different, I wouldnt worry too much about it.

Solids is a challenge for us as well. Our 12 months old does not show any interest in food. He also doesn't like to sit in his feeding chair and eat. He has to be out and about, and we feed him while he is busy in his activities. It's hard to get him to sit in his feeding chair for more than 10 mins. Hope the situation gets better with time!
