Those of you who are still breastfeeding at this age (6 months and up)...how do you do it with your Lo's wanting to constantly look around? I swear Valerie spends more time looking around at noises then she does at drinking milk! How do you manage, lol?!

I get something interesting around my neck for her. We also try to nurse away from the 'action' :)

 Sam went through a phase of doing that but seems to have stopped it now and decided that it's more fun just to play with my face instead!

I think he realised that if he looks around, the milk stops :laugh2: x

Aaron went through a phase of looking around, so I had to go somewhere quiet to feed when out and about. He doesn't do it anymore though. Except for last night when I was feeding him in bed he decided to try crawling at the same time!

Seth does this too... I tend to use a muslin square to cover him over (like blinkers lol) or just feed him somewhere quiet.

xxx

Go somewhere quiet and use your hand or a muslin to cover yourself every time she moves away. They do seem to grow out of it.

Bren is at that same stage, so we now go to my bedroom and nurse. It is quiet there. I do have a hard time in public and its driving me nuts. So glad to hear they grow out of it.

He also like to grab my face. He will work his hand to my lips then grab them. Ouch!

I have the same problems, the attention and the lip/nose pulling! :(

I just hold his arm down now till he settles. I do threaten to superglue it down occationally when he gets too rough. :)

 I'm abit mean, I just put my boob away and walk off untill she gets herself upset and just wants a cuddle..

haha toria I used to do that with max at 4 months lol he got the point fast enough ..

I also found that putting a toy around my neck helped

I keep a necklace on so he is to busy staring at that to look around really. That and he is busy pinching my boob/arm/face. He sure makes me laugh :) Hope it gets easier for you soon.

I am so 'glad' to hear that Bren is not the only one who is pinching me. It is nice to know it is normal, sometimes I feel like he is just mean. (totally silly I know as he doesn't know what he is doing)
