Breastfeeding and bleeding

My daughter is almost 8 weeks and my heavy flow of lochia stopped around 2 weeks. I'd spot off and on and have some gushes after pumping or breastfeeding, but now 8 weeks later sometimes I bleed after a feeding. Has anyone experienced this? I just thought it was strange considering it's been 8 weeks.

Btw I did t breastfeed my first so all this stuff is new to me.

I honestly can't remember much from those days but I wondered If you have been checked, or had any symptoms of retained placenta?
