Hi all, i cant manage to breastfeed in the ergo. I have big boobs so wondering if this is the problem.

Any suggestions on which carriers i cud breastfeed successfully in?

I could only do it once my baby was older and could sort of cooperate. I have to loosen the waist enough to squiggle him down low and loosen the shoulders enough to give him room to have the nipple right at his mouth. He uses his hands to hold my boob in the right spot too.

I'm a tiny B cup (still) and haven't managed either, and I've been using an ergo for 3 years. It's not the best carrier for nursng that's for sure.

When ds was newborn we used a Kari-Me wrap and I could breastfeed using that. Was lovely actually! I got to do my christmas shopping while feeding him. I can just about manage in the ergo too.. I lean forward so ds is sorta hanging back and this gives me more room to pop my boob in his mouth. I think it's easier because he's older and the latch is not so much if an issue!

I have the manduca carrier and have a hard time with it as well, perhaps it is be because our babes are so tiny? Today I bought a boba wrap and was able to nurse my LO in it, it's so comfy and she seems to like it :)
