Yay for darker BFPs!! Mine didn't get darker than the control line until after my period was missed!
It is really frustrating that your doc's office can't get you in sooner! It is definitely soothing to get that phone call saying yes, you're pregnant!
I am finally becoming more and more like my old self, slowly! I am in my 11th week and still feeling some nausea, but it is so much better! The fatigue is definitely still hanging around but it is getting somewhat lighter... My breasts ARE GIGANTIC. I am spilling out of my normal C cup, and I'm going to have to go bra shopping- for a D cup!!! I can't believe it- I've always been a small C, but just a smidge too big for B. I assume bra sizes are the same there?
My hips have been hurting, heartburn, and feet swelling- the doc said all were normal and that my body just responds well to progesterone!
I definitely have a slight rounding to my belly, I will upload a morning belly pic and an afternoon belly pic! I had my first run in with belly rubbing- it was so weird and exciting
My boss is out on maternity leave, so her boss is acting as our supervisor and of course she knows I'm pregnant- the whole place did since I was so sick. She walked up and cupped my belly in her hands, said Ooooh, you're showing already!! It was weird, because that is awfully intimate but also really exciting because it was the first person, other than OH, to do it!
I will hopefully be a better buddy and carry the thread while you're gone- if you're sick. Hopefully, though, you won't be sick at all!!!
Now for the rough news- I've gained 16ish lbs in 6 weeks!!! WHAT!
I asked the doc, because at first I just ate whatever would go down or looked appetizing, which was definitely some unhealthy stuff. Now, though, I've been making healtheir choices and only gained 2 lbs this week, rather than the 4 per week it was. However that is still way faster than it should be! Dr. R wasn't worried though, just said to make healthy choices, drink more water and get exercise- what I gain will be what I gain and not to worry. It is slowing down, though and my dr. google searches and friend's stories all said it would. Several people and stories I read said that some women gain a lot in the first tri then only a couple more pounds the last two trimesters. A friend said she gained 20 in the first 12 weeks, then 6 more the last 28 weeks. I guess some bodies freak out and pack on the pounds in case of a food shortage?
I'm still really worried, and I even borrowed my mom's treadmill! I'm finally feeling up to exercise, so I'm going to walk every day and make healthy food choices and drink non-stop- my body should stop gaining and start repositioning the fat stores! FXed!
Well, this is a huge update! I hope I can get on daily now, and stay abreast of how you're feeling!!!
I'm feeling better every day- just overwhelmingly fatigued by 7pm! You've got a couple more weeks before the fatigue hits, though! It didn't get me hard until 7 or 8 weeks, really- I mean, I was increasingly tired before my BFP to then but about then I felt physically sick if I didn't get in bed by 7! Of course, your pregnancy could be completely different so take what I say with a grain of salt!
Morning belly, 10 weeks- please excuse my hot mess self
Afternoon belly, 10 weeks- I don't think I have any of my major bloat pics to compare this to but it is definitely smaller than it was a couple of weeks ago. The bloat has been unlike anything I have ever experienced- it was even uncomfortable and made my skin hurt.
Let me know how you're feeling and your symptoms, bump buddy!!
