How are/did you get on with your wedding dress, mines fitted so I think im more or less screwed, im too scared to ring them and tell them! x

(no baby bump here ) but i'm sure your'll be fine hon. have you got a lace up back or zip?
your'll only be around 10 weeks so i wouldn't worry to much darling, but ring them up now just so that no, that way they can always let it out if you need!
big congratulations again :hugs: xx

i was 18 weeks pregnant on my wedding day and my dress was also very fitted. i was expecting to have the bust took in and the length took up but when i went for fitting it turned out that the only thing that needed altering was it needed to be let out at the waist by 1" plus it tied up at the back so didnt make mush difference.

how far on will you be on your wedding day? i would reccomend a dress fitting as close to the day as possible xxx

I was 25 weeks pregnant on my wedding day and to be honest, no problems with dress at all

you will be about 10 - 12 weeks at yours?? I really don't think you should have many problems at all :)

I'll be about 11 weeks I think so im hoping there isnt much damage done! It doesnt arrive into the shop til about 2 weeks before so im hoping they've got enough time to fit me in it!

i'm pretty sure there is plenty of time. phone them and explain your worried hon, but i'm sure they will make time. you have your fitting close to your date that you should be fine! so exciting! xx

You dont even need to tell them you are pregnant! I am pretty sure they normally expect to have to take dresses in/out by a couple of inches once it arrives (everyone has a different body shape) so IF it needs altering at all, which it may not, then you can just say you ate too many pies  or tell them you are pregnant. But you shouldnt need to ring in advance. You will barely even have a bump, if at all! When did your bump start showing with your first LO? xx

I got married when I was 9 weeks pregnant and was saved by the alterations lady:blush:

I had a lace up the back dress and it was my boobs that got huge so she put another bit of fabric in for the modesty panel incase they got any bigger so I would have alot of room to adjust!

If its a zip up they can easily convert to a lace up style....

i wish i had a bump. We have to put our baby making plans on hold now untill after the wedding x

I've had alterations on mine to give more space xx

I was 12 weeks on our wedding day and luckily they hadn't made final alterations to my dress, i just had it taken out 2 inches x

Im just hoping bloating goes down, my boobs have gotten massive, but it was gappy on the bust on the size down so maybe I'll fill that part haha!

I know im gonna need it taken out a bit cos I've gained about 14lbs in the last few months, then theres the bloat on top of that. They told me if the alterations go above £100 then £100 will be the cut off point so I know thats the most I will have to pay!
