I've posted on the buddies forum but no one seems to respond :(

I'm just looking for some other ladies in the UK to be buddies with. I'm almost 12 weeks but it doesn't matter how far along you are - it would just be nice to chat and compare things. Feeling a bit lonely even though I have the support of my family and OH.

x

hey i love purple, I am 11 weeks would be nice to have a bump buddy :)

Hello! :hi: I'm just over 5 weeks & in Preston. Where about are you?

Congratulations :)

Hello can i join ? I'm currently 7 weeks with my second, based in Devon.

I'm 11 weeks on Friday with #2 :) Got my dating scan next Thursday xoxo

Hiya!! Looks like we have same due date, have my dating scan tomorrow so may change! How are you feeling? I've been quite nauseous and exhausted but think its mostly down to having to run after a toddler this time where as last time could just go to bed when i wanted!! Xx

Aww hi ladies, how are you all?

ispeakinsongs - Hiya :) I'd love to have a bump buddy, that's what I've been looking for! How are you feeling? Any symptoms?

Kits - Heya! Congrats to you too, did you recently find out?

Christina of course you can join, the more the merrier! Have you started getting symptoms yet? I've heard symptoms come quicker after you have your first

Hi happy, I'm hoping to get a scan next week. I have my booking app tomorrow so we'll see how that goes. How are you feeling?

LittleFish, aww yeah looks like we're exactly the same weeks and days! I've had non stop nausea for 3/4 weeks, been dry heaving and throwing up everyday, can't eat much at all. Really quite annoying. Hoping the sickness dies down in the coming weeks. Must be even harder for you with your toddler! I haven't felt too exhausted yet thankfully, but I'm sure I'll start feeling it soon

Thankfully she is awfully good, apart from going to bed! The last few weeks she's been up till 9:30 and I've felt like going to bed at 8! Lol!

have my scan on less then 3hours! Then have to head straight into work! I'm nervous and excited!! Found heartbeat a week ago with doppler so hopefully all well be grand!

I'm seeing my whole family on Sunday so have ordered a tshirt for my DD that says I'm going to be a big sister and see how long it takes them to see it!

hope your booking appointment goes well, is it normal in your area for it to be at 12weeks? With DD i had mine at 8weeks and this time (different area) 10 weeks but have had scan date for about a month.

How are the rest of you ladies doing ?? Hope you are all feeling ok? Xx

I'm near Brighton and I'm 5+3 with my second. Hello! X

Good morning :)

I got my bfp on 29 June. It was pretty funny because I was totally convinced I was out this cycle, but it never even occurred to me I could've ovulated late :haha:

So far I'm feeling very lethargic & am getting pretty nauseous after I eat. My boobs are getting sore from time to time but mainly when I take my bra off. I get so excited  :haha:

How did your scan go mylittlefish??! Fingers crossed for you!!

I have a scan tomorrow morning, hopefully just coming to the end of my 5 weeks so who knows what I will or won't see/hear.

Lots of

Hi purple,

I am 11+4 (I think... Will check ticker after I press post)

Got my scan on Sunday. Am excited but mega scared. My tummy is MASSIVE and I have twins on both sides so I'm a bit worried there might be more than 1 in there. Also, not sure why scan is a Sunday? Seems a bit odd.

Anyway how are you feeling? I started to feel normal last weekend but hopes were soon dashed with projectile vom all over the car... Now on day 2 of a killer migraine.

Where are you all from? Xx

Lovepurple, yeah I've had sore boobs, tiredness and a little bit of nausea but no sickness yet! Got my first midwife appt on the 15th x

I feel awful today...far to warm and muggy!! Got my hair done though so don't look quite as bad as I feel and luckily my DD is being super good which makes things a lot easier!!
You'll have to let us know how your scans go+! Xxx

Hi Mya, how are you?

LittleFish how did the scan go? Any pics? I should have had my booking app much earlier than today but I was worried/ paranoid about miscarrying, so I didn't actually go to my GP to book a hospital until around week 10!

Kits, good luck with the scan tomorrow, let us know how it goes. I had an internal scan at 5weeks 6days due to bleeding and although no hb was found because it was too early, I managed to see the sac and yolk etc. Baby was so small!!

Amy, aww I know how you feel about the vomiting. I'm vomiting every other day now, luckily I manage to run to a toilet! Felt so sick in my booking app today as well but didn't want to throw up in front of the nurses lol. I'm from London! And good luck with the Sunday scan, haven't heard of it being done on that day before!

Christina, you're lucky you don't have any sickness yet! But I know the nausea feels awful. I've got an appointment with my GP tomorrow to try and get some sickness reliever which the nurse at my booking appointment suggested I do!

Hello all!
amyleigh89 that sounds awful! I hope you feel better soon!
Happy happy, hope you feel better soon but i am jealous of getting your hair done, may have to think about that for next month maybe! Always feel better when my hairs done!

kits -- my scan went well today thank you! Only one in there ( DH has been saying its twins as have been much worse this pregnancy!) and he/she was VERY active!! Just so glad it went well

love purple how did your booking appointment go?

xxx

Booking app went well, had to wait for two hours before I was seen, but it all went fine after that. Got a bunch of informative stuff which i'm gonna spend some time reading over the next few weeks! :) Got my scan booked for next Tues!

Lovepurple you are very patient!! Glad it went well and you don't have to wait to long for your scan!! Yay! We were at the hospital for two hours as we had to see the midwife, then have scan, bloods, see midwife again then consultant (due to problems i had with labour!) i thought my husband was going to cry as we were both meant to be at work!
Happyhappy, will definitely be getting my hair done, i just love that just from salon feeling! Xx

Hi all please may I join you I'm 31 and just over 6 weeks expecting my first baby 3rd March. I'm from the West Midlands. Nice to speak to people from the uk things seems to be so different over here than the us - the ladies in the US seem to be having regular tests.

I have my first midwife early bird appointment today - not quite sure what to expect - think its a group session with lots of information.

When I had my first midwife appointment (1st mc) I spent just over an hour going over paperwork.

There were a lot of questions regarding background & a TON of info, such us pelvic floor exercises, rights to antenatal classes, start thinking about what tests I want doing, what kind of birth I want, etc, etc. They were also very concerned as to whether being pregnant depressed (of course it didn't, i was sooo happy!!) me & wanted info on their level of care.

Of course they check urine. They're obsessed with checking urine.

It was basically all that style of info & questions.

:)

Good luck ladies, leave for my scan in an hour & hopefully, I JUST might get yesterday's blood results.
