where can i get a good one ?
also do you buy the size you were pre preg ?

I know H&M has some! Not sure about the sizing though - haven't gotten any yet! Although, a pair of maternity pants I got at H&M have a band on them - I got them in a couple sizes up because there's no way I can wear any pre-pregnancy pants sizes anymore.

Mine arrived from New Look today - £8.99 for one black and one white. I got a M/L (biggest size) and I'm an 18 and they fit OK.

I also saw some in Toys R Us at the weekend.

Am I being thick or what but what are they used for? iv seen them in the shops

I bought some in Matalan. I was a size 12 before and the S/M fit fine.

there grt, there used so u can keep ur old jeans on longer, so comfy ,try ebay there so cheap on there

You can wear them over jeans that perhaps are a bit tight and you need to unbutton them. This hides the fact you've got your jeans undone and helps keep them up.

I use them to smooth out my bump as I have a B-Bump. My jeans still fit and rather than wearing a belt and creating more of a B-Bump I wear a bump band over the top and it keeps my jeans up and smooths out where they sit on my waist thus giving me a smooth bump. It makes me feel much more confident and not flabby!

what is a b bump?
im a tubby girl so my bump does not look bumpy, oooh i want to get bump bands now,
do they sell them in the new look shops etc or do i need to only look online? i dont even know what they look lik!

A b bump is where you have more than one bump... As in an lower ribcage bump above the baby bump which makes it look like a B. I think :)

ah ok think mines like that, and always has been as ive always had a tubby belly, assumed it was from my trouser band always around my belly button causing a permanent dent lol

they sell them in New Look shops that actually have a maternity section!! Ive had my bump bands from there for a long while and bought them in the store, but after going into other New Look shops in my area I have found out that many of them DONT have a maternity section!! grrrrrrrrrr!

I got these yesterday for $20 shipped. I chose medium, since now my waist is already 34 inches.

the only thing i dont get, is how they actually keep ur trousers up, my understandin is they are designed for when you cant do ur trousers up anymore, but how does a piece of fabric stop ur open jeans from falling down whenever you sit down or stand up?

i dont want no builders bum lol

I got mine from mothercare, they come in dress sizes. They don't hold up your trousers they allow you to wear your own tops for a bit longer but making it look like you have a double layered top on, they also cover up the top of your trousers so you can have the top button undone and no one will know.

asda sell them??? i havent even seen maternity bras in asda which shocked me, i better try and look again, what section would the bands be in?

Haha...mine too...I thought it was from sitting for a long time with stomach rolls..lol!

I like your blog btw! Can you put pictures on blogs? Also, you should mention the common unmentionable side of pregnancy...like pregnancy farts, and how going number 2 becomes exciting (cuz it's rare when you can...at least for me). I love being able to laugh about the less cute side of pregnancy.

Oh...they do sell these things that extend your jeans...but allows you to buttom them. I call them dickies for jeans. https://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=537721&cm_ven=R_Google&cm_cat=OSA_NonBrand&cm_pla=Nursery&cm_ite=pregnant+pants+extender&orderType=2&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Nursery&utm_term=pregnant+pants+extender
