Kte if i end up with a girl i'll end up buying more

I'm keeping all Noah's special outfits, might do a big bundle of stuff he doesn't use and pop on ebay.

Hope Chloe's lip is feeling better too.

Well just chopped the veg for dinner and OH is now cooking mmmmm fajitas. Im starving today (although didnt have lunch :dohh:)

Evening all,

Kaites - Hope your dad has a nice birthday and the family visits are good :flower:

Flora - I saw an inflatable ball pool I want to get Chloe for summer . . if we get a summer! I finally got some sun cream and cute hats so I dare take her outside now lol Your garden sounds nice.

Maffie - Good luck selling the clothes, I tried to sell some on here and I sold a few things but miscalculated the postage, made £8 in total and postage came to £6! :dohh: The rest I am just going to bag up and send to a charity shop - I can't be bothered listing anywhere like ebay as there is a bin bag full and I know I will end up paying a fortune in fee's. I did contemplate a car boot but I'm not up for that on my own really, 4am start again too . . .nah! I just want the space now!

Jo - thanks for the recipe too  (I always thought lentils took longer to cook! )

Hope everything is okay with Eswift, I didn't see her status but then again I not been on fully since last week.

Feeling better thanks but I got a rash from the antibiotics! Still have two left to take as well. Its on my arms and even better - my face!

Chloe had a weird blister on her lip earlier . . . couldn't figure out what it was. Think it might be something she did it on a teether toy. She seems fine otherwise.

Had Nij's parents over again today to see Chloe. His Dad is always adamant she should be crawling, I said she hates being on her tummy and doesn't want to crawl so he siad 'you don't know if you don't try'. I just ignored it, I'm not putting Chloe on her tummy and stressing her out to prove it to him . . . but then when he had her later on he did! I was so mad! Poor Chloe started to stress then so he finally learnt. Why oh why can't they just listen sometimes!

I really really need chocolate tonight!

Sam absolutely hated being on his tummy and i refused to do something to him that made him so upset. He did it in his own time now he'd rather be on his tummy dragging himself across the floor. Chloe will do it when she's ready and no amount of forcing her will make it happen sooner, there is just no telling grandparents/Great grandparents though lol :hugs: My chloe hardly crawled at all and infact she went backwards at first lol she ended up walking at 9.5 months, before she had teeth or hair lol

Kte as you work in a uni you might know this. I cant find my GCSE grades from school anywhere, it was 15 years ago!! I have to fill out a UCAS form for my course, its just to prove i can do it but not actually post it off, and its asking all my gcse grades and who issued them. I have no idea who issued them and forgot all the crappy grades. So my question is can you get copies of them? If so where from and does it cost a lot?

Jo, I rang up my high school and got copies of my grades, but I only left school in 2005 (still a baby lol ) I'd give it a try though, if not they might advise you who to ring/where to go to obtain them!!

x

Jo: You can get copies but actually from the awarding exam boards so if you can't remember those i'm not sure, but if you have still no joy let me know and I will ask one of the admissions tutors tomorrow as they may know something more than me. I know Nij got some certificates about a year ago and it cost about £35 but it may vary I guess.

Maffie: Oddly enough I am selling boys clothes! As we were on team yellow we got a lot of boys stuff given 'just in case'. I have been meaning to get rid for ages but am extra determined now as they were from 'the bit of cake' iykwim, having them here makes me  I have the odd girl item bought once Chloe was born but most are in the 'thats way too cute to let go of' box (or 3!) :haha: Get eating woman! Mustn't be easy being pregnant and BF at the same time :hugs: :flower:

(p.s Chloe's lip has gone down now thankfully, someone said she may need a faster flowing bottle teat so if I see it again I know what to do, she was sucking quite hard on the bottle)

Hi all :flower: Hope your all well!!

Grace has chicken pox!! Thursday night she came home from the childminders and I noticed a few spots on her back and one on her forehead, rang the childminder and she said they had been in the garden and it could be bites...so I thought nothing of it. Friday morning she didn't wake up till 11am(!!), well I had to wake her, went in her room and she had spots all over bless her!
Since then shes been fine to be honest, shes still running around as per usual, and as of yet doesn't seem to be itching  we are armed with calamine lotion just incase though!

I'm cr@pping myself to be honest, i've never had chicken pox before!! Friday night I started to feel all achy, I spent most of the day in bed yesterday and this morning OH got up with the kids so I could have another lie in (:haha:) and I do feel a little better today, still have a constant headache but i'm PRAYING to god that I don't get chicken pox, can be really bad the older you get it apparently...heard alot of horror stories from everyone I have spoken to so far about it...eeek!!

On a plus note, Theo seems to be okay...so far anyway :haha:, guess time will only tell if me and Theo are going to get it too...my poor OH, his doctor skills better be top notch, i'm a tough patient

Anyway, been to my neices birthday party today (Grace had to stay home :( ) it was so fun, they had a bouncy castle, took Theo on and he loved it!! everyone took him to have a cuddle, it was bliss...mummy sat near the buffet, drinking tea and eating cake  tehehe!

Both kids are in bed now & I think I will be heading up soon myself...
Going for a walk tomorrow with my SIL, from her house to the town centre....its 5.7 miles there, then obv 5.7 miles back too, think I might just die  ....determined to loose this final stone though!! I need to fit in my summer wardrobe!

Thanks mellie and kte im gonna ring my old school tomorrow and see if they can help, a couple of old school friends told me who issued them, my school was pretty crap when i was there and dont think they've changed much!!

Im home alone with the kids this week as OH has gone home to wales to do some jobs, more money to do up our garden so im not complaining lol plus i get a week off work to look after sam :)

Jo, thanks so much for the recipe! :) I will definitely make that up, as I have all those ingredients, so it should be easy  I may invest in the Karmel book tbh, I'ge heard lots of nice recipes from her. At the moment, Harry's mainly BLW, but he sometimes he has 'mush' as I call it & he's had a few of those Ella's Kitchen pouches too, which he liked. He seems pretty laid back so far with food, and hardly gags at all now, thank goodness!

Maffie & Kte- my cousin had a little boy last week (Ethan, 8lbs 13oz- gorgeous!) so I gave her most of Harry's newborn & 0-3 clothing. I've kept all his early baby stuff, coz it's just so tiny & cute & it's strange remembering how ickle newborns are & I've kept a couple of his 'special' outfits too, and some of the things my sister gave me coz she wanted them back. I also kept his moses basket & baby bath, coz I figure they were neutral so i can reuse them for future kiddies.

Mellie, hope you dont get chicken pox (or shingles) from your Grace & that Theo will be okay too. :hugs:

:dohh: thats typical!

Jo - I had a look and it seems to be working now;

Certificates

Replacement certificates
We can issue replacement certificates if the originals have been destroyed by fire, flood or theft if you include documentary evidence such as an insurance claim letter or fire or police report with your application.

We can also replace damaged of defaced certificates if the original certificate is returned with the application.

We will not issue certificates where originals have been lost or not been collected from the school or college. If you have lost or not claimed your certificate you can get a Statement of Results.

Statement of Results
We can issue a statement of results to a candidate. This is an official document which can be used in the same way as a certificate. It is universally acknowledged as proof of the examination results which a candidate has attained and can be used in place of the original certificate.

Confirmation of Results to a Third Party
A Confirmation of Results can not be sent to the candidate, it can only be sent directly to

•public or professional bodies
•service authorities
•universities/colleges
•prospective employers.
This document confirms examination results to a third party. Applicants will not receive a copy of the results for their own reference. An acknowledgement card is sent to the applicant to confirm the date of the letter to the third party.

Employment Agencies must have a signed statement from the candidate to allow us to issue results direct to them.

Most applications are urgent, however you must allow 28 days for your application to be processed. They are dealt with in the order they are received.

Costs
Replacement Certificate and Statement of Results: £35.90 per examination session, per level and per board.

Confirmation of Results: £17.95 per examination session, per level, per board and per Third Party addressee.

A confirmation letter is free of charge for candidates needing verification of their current exam results before the original certificate has been issued to the school.

Does AQA hold your records?
AQA can only confirm results taken with:

•AQA Assessment and Qualification Alliance *
•JMB Joint Matriculation Board *
•NEAB Northern Examinations and Assessment Board *
•NEA Northern Examining Association*
•AEB Associated Examining Board +
•SEG Southern Examining Group+
* Manchester office
+ Guildford office

Note: we have two offices, (Guildford and Manchester). Sending your application to the correct office and each office separately avoids delays.

If you do not know which board you took your exams with, contact the other examining boards too.

Guildford (including AQA Logistics (Guildford))

There is a PDF at the very bottom (application form) on the web page that gives more info; it says they might not have covered all your exams and to contact all the exam boards just in case!

i would assume, from your age & location Jo that the majority of your exams would've been done by SEG & MEG, so agree with Kte- contact AQA & get a statement of results. My sister needs to do this too coz she's lost her GCSE & NVQ certificates aswell.

Thanks girls, ive just been on the phone to them cos the website was playing up so bad. Typically after i got off the phone it was fine! I have to send off for a statement of results for £35.90 as i think most of them were with SEG who are now AQA. I know i need it for when i apply to uni but part of my course now is filling out the UCAS form so i need them now lol so annoying as it means i cant finish this part of the assessment till i receive it. Oh well gives me an excuse to get the codes for biology off my tutor :)

Jo, you sounds so excited about your course- it's inspiring! :) I think maybe when Harry is older I will finish my MSc, but for now, I'm happy being a lazy git at home in my PJs!

I have the last year of my course starting in September, so worried my brain isn't up to it now being the final year and needing to kick some ass with my grades! It also sucks that my classmates all graduated this year :( Hey-ho. Determined to get it done no matter what! I wouldn't of wanted to do it whilst pg and then with a newborn, so wanted to cherish that time not stress over assignments!

Hope they sort it quickly enought for you jo :flower:

Happy Monday girls!

Absolutely piddling down here and is set to all day. I wish it would bring the temp down some!!

Kte, I know you've said before, but i have baby brain (weak excuse! :dohh: ) What are you studying?

Chaos, you in humid season now then?

I am excited Fleur, i just want to get all the crappy bits out the way and onto interesting stuff. The module im doing now is all about filling out forms and writing statements about myself - which i hate doing. I mean if i cant fill out a form at the age of 30 then it would be a bloody bad job lol

 too true, lol. I still have my origonal UCAS form personal statement. I sound so damn up myself it's unbelievable. My mum wrote it for me because I threw a hissy fit about not being able to 'sell myself' & announed while sobbing like a baby that if she didn't do it for me I would never go to uni. The English Teacher in her took pity on me & she did it for me! :dohh: I would sooooooo do it differently now, but oh well. Ancient history now I guess.

Lol that's okay flora! It's thrilling, wait for it . . . Educational Administration! It's quite a complex subject but as with the job title it can be a little understated. My job title is worse as it 'Departemental Secretary' even tho I do admin work. People ask what I do when I say I work at a University all interested and then when I say, it kind of kills the convo!

TBH I never really knew what I wanted to do at college so I didn't want to waste time and money on a degree, rather wait until I was sure. This one is part funded by my work and I was really into working up the ladder but now i'm not so sure. I do and I don't! I still want the challenge of completing my degree and also it will be beneficial in lots of other ways too. Plus the new VC made it compulsory that if you apply here you have to have a degree, I have been here for 7 years but if I applied for another job now I wouldn't even get an interview!

I did an Events Management module one year and that was fun but I ran an annual local event and realised last year that I'd rather just do it volentary rather than have to do it. I get mini projects like conferences at my work anywhoo.

I will prob figure out what I really want to do when its too late lol!

I loved studying would love to do some more.

My MS has really kicked in today, thankfully only feel sick no being sick :haha:

Jo: Hate that stuff too - I had to do this questionnaire on learning styles to see how I learn and it turns out I am an all rounder so that didn't help much!

Flora:  At least it worked!
