Bumps2be2011

:hi: Hello MrsQ, nice to see a new face. Your little boy is adorable!

I think I'm on the bill filing train this weekend too, my OH cannot file for love nor money so it always falls on me... and because of all the exams I have had this month, they seem to be everywhere at the moment! There's some on the hamster cage, the bread bin, the bookcase and the bedside cabinet :haha: Really wish that boy would get better at helping out! xxx

I know the feeling! Ours are on top of the microwave, on the kitchen side, on the dining table, under the coffee table, by the sofa and in the study! Haha I haven't filed any for ages and OH doesn't get it lol. Plus I'm a control freak and like to do everything myself!

We've been discussing TTC loads this week, whilst I do absolutely love talking about it it's making me so broody!! Xxx

all my bills are n cupboard ina big heap. i never chuck the envelope away when i should so when it comes to clearing it theres is always loads to chuck.
:flower:hi mrsQ welcome to our group, how old is your lo?:hugs:

well ive been busy doing housework today. just the hoovering left but will leave that till just before i go out otherwise i will just make it worse. ive done 2 lots of washing, cleaned the hamster, cleaned bathroom and kitchen so now its time to chat for 5 before caleb wakes up:haha:

oh was talking about ttc but was being craftt by saying we could try now if he could be a sahd but i realy dont think he would be able to handle the crying as he doesnt like it now but im sure when we do try it will be the right time just dont want to annoy him with it so i let him bring it up and when it gets closer to end of year i will talk about it more to him because of coming off pill and sorting my blood out . at least i can talk about my broodiness here.

Hope your all well xx

hiya guys. Hes 11 weeks lol, i know its really soon to be thinking about another but i really want a big family.

xxxx

They'll have a nice age gap when number 2 comes along then! We want ours to be no more than 2 years apart (when we get as far as having number 1 lol) as both me and OH had 4 years age gap with our siblings, and felt it was too much. But we'll see how it all pans out! If we stick to it though, I'm hoping I can convince him to have more than 3 hehe.

Faye, my OH has been trying the SAHD on with me as well, but we could never afford it. It's about time the goverment made paternity and maternity leave more equivalent I think. Apparently, it's set to be increased to 6 weeks paid for dads if Labour win the election. But in Sweeden (I think, but maybe Switzerland lol) new parents have a year of paid leave that they can split between them as they see fit. So either can take a whole year off and the other work, or each can take any combination that makes up a year between them... that seems so much better! xx

leah- my oh work nights to so would be big drop in money to. plus im a sahm at moment so i havent got a proper wage coming in. luckily the time i feel pregnant with caleb i was able to get maternity allowance because i was in the time frame with old company. its £123 a week so as soon as july comes i need to get part time job to cover mortgage. I think oh`s new job he can get 9 weeks paternity but it would be a big drop in money.x

With my OH, it's that he just assumes we'll be able to afford it as I'm training to be a solicitor. But what he doesn't seem to realise that not all solicitors are paid enormously high salaries. After 4 years at uni I'm still looking at going into a first job with the same or similar salary as him (he works for Dreams) so there is no way we would cope with him being the one staying at home, as he'll only recieve the 2 weeks statutory paternity pay, whereas I'll recieve SMP for 9 months standard. Hopefully they'll have pushed it up to 12 months paid by next year though. Plus, I really want to be the one who stays at home!! Is that mean?? :haha: xx

Hey hey everyone!!

Sorry I've been away for ac ouple of days...been a touch hectic lol.
Hi MrsQ -

Earl's had a big couple of days. We've started having breakfast, he's sleeping though again (ish) and he's sitting up unaided pretty much now (oh I'm having fun lol)

I'm still job hunting and tbh I'm bored already. I hate it when i don't get responses.

My bills are all in boxes. I do the filing, then get bored so as soon as it's done, it just starts piling up again :dohh: We're moving soon so I'm going to take the opportunity and get rid of everything except the last 12 months of bills, set up a proper filing system and hopefully, with me working full time, I'll be able to keep on top of it a little bit more successfully......hah I'll believe it when I see it!

hi, i'm rosie

i'm 27 and have a 4yr old son. my partner left when i told him i was pregnant so i've always been a single mum.

i have always been desperate for a family and i might be running out of time.
my nan had menopause at 32 and my mum at 41. i may end up being completely normal but i don't want to take the chance of being like my nan and not being able to have babies when i finally meet mr right.
i've also heard that a womans fertility takes a serious dip 10yrs before she hits menopause. so even if i take after my mum that would mean i only have 3yrs before i find it more difficult to concieve.

well i have taken the decision to try for a baby through AI next summer! i want to have the family i've dreamed of and i want my son to have a sibling or two.

am doing lots of research first and this site has been a great help so far. i will come here if ever i have a question or want some hints/tips, you lovely ladies seem like experts

i'm gonna book a doctors appointment next month to have a health screen and a chat. just to make sure i'm fit and well and to give me enough time to sort it out if i'm not! sure i'll be fine though.

am sooo excited about it all. can't wait to start trying!!!!

(hope that makes sense and came through ok, i was lazy and pasted it from my wtt journal!)

ohhhhhhhh best say a bit about me hadnt i?

Well i am Lorraine i am 29 years young on saturday. Got married last August to my hubby. We had been together 3 years and had planned the wedding for 2 years and i fell pregnant 5 months before the wedding. I have a benign brain tumor and was told i would find it hard to fall so we together we would just go ahead and trya nd fell the first go ops.
Had the nightmare pregnancy, hyperemsis and pre eclamsia and spent most of the pregnancy in hospital..... why do you want another you may ask? I just love mikey to pieces and would go through it all a thousand times for him!
I had an emergency C section after being induced and 2 hours later his heart rate went low and wasnt recovering. I had a cat2 c section.
But hes here hes my life and i cant wait for more.

Hi there girls,

I found out about this group from DJ987, and was wondering if its alright with you gals if i joined?

My name is Susie, I'm 22yrs old, currently doing a diploma in Nursing. OH and I would like to start TTC once I finish my diploma which would be in August 2011, but probably start in September. Im living atm in Sydney, Australia, but once I've completed my diploma, OH and I will be moving back to Melbourne, we have our house there that we bought in July '09.

I've read all the posts and didnt realise that I had heaps in common with all you ladies. I love the sims (big fan of #2 but havent tried #3), love watching glee, but also greys anatomy and private practice, and reading!

I really hope that once we all reach our ttc dates that our ttc journeys are a short one. I too, like some of you, have to get some health issues sorted. Oh and I started ttc last year but since I received a scholarship we decided to put it on hold. I have had a mc back in '07, a very much unexpected pregnancy, but OH was awesome through it all. I have hypothyroidism, due to a semithyroidectomy last year, and am on thyroxine, I also am insulin resistant which is being treated with metformin. My cycles only just started getting regular in Dec '09 and have been very happy with the arrival of ewcm, which I never had before as I wasnt ovulating. I think I stopped ovulating once I quit my job at the supreme court(2008) and put on like 20kgs! Yikes! Happy to say Ive lost 15kgs but would ideally like to lose another 10....

I think I would rate my broodiness at around 7, mainly because Im real focused on my studies atm, but think it would reach 11 once it gets close to my ttc date. I would like to go team yellow but OH wants to know, he thinks it'll be easier to buy stuff for our baby and prepare the nursery accordingly.

Anyway, i think I've written heaps and would like to thank all of you who get through it.

:hugs:

Hi there Rosie, Lorraine and Susie (YAY, another Aussie! :happydance:) :hi:

It's always nice to see that new people are coming to join in the wait!

Welcome Rosie, Lorraine and Susie! Good to see we are expanding and getting new members! :D

How is everyone today? I had an absolutely awful day at work yesterday, I ended up crying in my office it was just awful!! Had a nice glass of wine last night and a good nights sleep and I feel much better today! Just have to see what's waiting for me when I get to work :(

What have we all been up to? Any plans for the weekend? xxxx

Hi Susie :hi:

I updated the WTT List....So many starting in August to TTC, it's a good month. My son is an august baby. lol
It's great to see so many new faces. x

I had a chilled out evening with pizza, prison break and hubby. He's got a short day today, so we are off to town later. It's my son's name day today, it's kinda a big thing in Germany for a catholic, so he can have a toy.
It's the memorial day for Saint Joseph today, so everybody called Joseph celebrates and gets present.

Any nice plans for the weekend girls? Didn't this week go fast?! It feels like it's Wednesday for me. lol

Helloooo all. This week did indeed go super fast Anna, I feel like I have hardly accomplished anything though! I was supposed to be getting a haircut today, but the salon called and moved it to next Friday instead :growlmad:

Last exam of the term tomorrow!! And it's my favourite, Property Law... is it sad to be looking forward to an exam??? :haha: Other plans for the weekend... probably some napping lol. Oh, and dinner at OH's Nans on Sunday (=no cooking yay :happydance: ) xxx

Good luck for the exam Leah! It's not sad to look forward to an exam...I always looked forward to my English exams in school. It was the one subject I didn't had to do much for. lol

That's exactly how I feel about this! It's just something I've taken to really well, so know I have nothing to worry about. So I think today I will just chill out with lots of cups of tea and get into the right frame of mind for the morning... wooosa :winkwink: xx
